"Loan for ba" Posted by 6emma9 25 February at 20:40
Hi there, i had the same problem. Ive gone with First Medical Loan. Its specifically for cosmetic surgery and they send the money direct to where ever your having it done. Ive borrowed £3000 over 5 years, its £80 a month and they dont penalise you if you want to pay it off earlier. Hope that helps x

"Loan" Posted by katieboo 21 February at 10:41
I went with the halifax and told them it was for a boob job, i got all embarrassed and the bank clerk said i would be surprised by the ammount of people that have loans for surgery now, its just as common as getting a loan for a car. so just tell them the truth :0) I also ended up having an hour long conversation with the clerk about boob jobs as she wanted hers done :0) Good luck with your op & happy healing Katie x x x

"Why lie?" Posted by 19littlepieces 20 February at 20:34
I dont understand why so many people lied? I know it doesnt really matter, but for that reason why lie? Its only someone over the phone isnt it? Anyway ... I said cosmetic surgery, they only ask once, they dont dig into what or why.
Yer just say cosmetic surgery!

Thank you sooooo much for all your posts!
Once again you have all put my mind at ease and made me feel less nervous about stating my reason for loan.
Thanks again!

Hi Ladies,
Sorry to dampen your sprits but you should tell them its for cosmetic surgery and not lie, if for some reason you have money worries and this is looked into, they will see you lied... this is fraud....
Just be thruthful, there is no reason as to why they should no for cosmetic surgery, they just want to know what your spending it on... paper filling etc...

"Dont lie" Posted by twinkle53 27 February at 09:03
Yes I have to agree with the last post. I got a loan for mine and put cosmetic surgery on the form. I saw no reason to worry about telling them the truth and in these days of fast credit nobody asks to see any receipts or anything. In case anybody is interested I went with yourpersonalloan.co.uk, you apply online, real simple process, I had the money in my account within 5 days and very low interest rate, 6.7 APR, mind you I only went over 18 months. Longer loans may have higher rates. Twinkle
