I had my op on 331 March at THG, My husband and i travelled up on the Friday and stayed in a hotel called Ladybird Lodge. It may be a bit more than you want to pay but it was very nice they do discount if you say you going to THG too. They have web site too and it is only 5mins away with pub right by in case your boyfriend would like a drink of course lol. I went on the internet and got some others cheaper but there were no vacancies and my hubby bit fussy lol. Some people have had their partners stay with them all night at the hospital, my husband didnt leave untill 10.00pm the day i had my op. Hope this helps
