Hi everyone, went to Transform to see Barbara Lutz Tuesday and was glad I knew she was a straight talker before hand lol !!

As I said previously I am a 'droopy' 36DD and although some would say lucky you, I am very concsious of them and went with the idea of Uplift. However after finding this site, quite a few mentioned that after having an uplift alone they were disspoointed with not having implants and the one thing I would hate would to be go through with it and be disappointed.

After we chatted she basically laughed at me and said definately no implants and although an uplift would be ok, it wouldnt be long term and I wouldnt get what I want (how she knows that when I dont know myself yet im not too sure) Her suggestion is that I have a reduction and uplift but what worries me is that she couldnt gaurantee the size . Apparantly 1 boob needs to be lifted 11cm and the other 8cm .

Really not sure now about any of it.

When I then went on to mention mini tummy tuck as I wasnt that unhappy with it but felt would benefit from the mini and having them done at the same time would make sense to me she again threw me by saying I would be better having a full tummy tuck !!!!

Going to see another surgeon next Tuesday and am still trying to get in with one from Elyzea

Any thoughts would be great x

I cant give any advice on the surgery...sorry.I had a BA 2 weeks ago.

I would say though if you dont feel happy with what she said(which you definately don't) then try another surgeon....then another, until you and the surgeon both have the same ideas on what you're wanting and what can be achieved.Don't let them tell you that you can't have what you want done.Surgeons seem to vary on their abilities and opinions i think.

You will find a good surgeon.I had Mr Marcos Sforza with THG for my BA,and found him honest with his words, and trusted him fully.I wanted unders but he said i needed overs....explaining all the reaons why, asking me why i wanted unders and telling me what i'd get if i had unders against his advice.I'd definately have him for anything else in the future.

Just go with what you feel is right for you....good luck

I don't know if you are now put off of going to transform but if not I hear that Mr Khan specialises in uplift so maybe see him.

both my sis and aunt had reduction and it didnt solve the problem. Both of them have had boobs grow back and it doesn't stop thhem drooping again in time.

Stick with ur guns on uplift and pos uplift with implants, think thats the best way forward.

Also reduction is very tricky op with lots possible complications etc

def try someone else or another company.

good luck

Hi

I had an uplift and slight reduction on one boob and tummy tuck. Big mistake . Bad scarring on tummy tuck and ended up feeling rather flat chested. I should have had uplift and implants and had the tummy tuck done as a seperate op as I think it was rushed and bodged. I have had 2 lots of implants and another uplift since 1st uplift and I am still not at the size I want to be. I also still have one breast bigger than the other and now one thats round and the other higher up and an indent on the inside of the left breast.

Just make sure you ask all the right questions, do your research and follow your gut feeling. Get as many opinions as you can and go with what you feel is the right decosion and not the surgeon. They are not always RIGHT.

Good Luck

Hi

I went through mybreast and wasn't really sure what I wanted. I am a large 32F but very droopy! I knew I wanted an uplift but my surgeon (mr Liew, Liverpool) also recommended implants to give them some shape. I am booked in for 13 March so can't tell you yet what the results are like. I would keep seeing surgeons until you find one you are comfortable with and who understands what you want. Mr Liew knew exactly what I wanted even though I couldn't vocalise it mysef...I have been dithering for years - uplift or reduction - to be honest implants hadn't occurred to me since I have always thought I am big enough already - but once he explained what they would do for me I understood exactly what he was saying and can't wait for the op now!

Good luck x

Thank you for that, most people on here seem to be smaller to start with and therefore know they definately want bigger. All I know is I definately want firmer and higher but not smaller as when im in a bra Im fine. Ok so I cant wear anything that requires no bra or ever strapless bras as they dont do anything but if I could have them as they are in a bra that would be perfect. I came away feeling that I was asking the impossible yet I dont think I am

I will keep looking as that is one thing I have learnt, dont make a hasty decision .

I will look into Mr Liew as avent heard about him

Thanks again and good luck for your op xx

I also wanted firmer - or in Mr Liew's words "perkier.." I think that's what sold me - he knew exactly what I wanted!! I am not sure where in the country you are - he is based in Liverpool. He has his own web site http://www.mycosmeticsurgeon.co.uk/index.html

but as i say I went to him through mybreast. They have been fabulous..and their pre surgery pack is really nice too - arnica tablets, rose hip oil, lavender oil, herbal teas magazines and surgical bra....

Let me know how you get on - will be thinking of you. good luck x
