| Thread started by: | "I had 270 unders- are they big enough- anyone else had this size?" Posted by katrynlou 30 April at 13:01
Hi everyone,
Well I had my BA done on Friday at Highgate Hospital with the Harley Medical Group. I had 270cc unders, as I started off a large A/small B and I wanted to be a generous C/ or small D. My surgeon ensured that this would be the case, and after the op, I couldn't fit into a 34c bra, and I had to wear a 34D (still am)
But looking at all the other posts here, most people seem to have had bigger implants than me. I am quite small-framed with small shoulders, a size 10, weigh about 120lbs.
Do you think that when they settle, they are likely to shrink quite a lot? I don't want them to be too small after all the pain and hassle I've gone through!
Has anyone else had a similar sized implant?
Please help me put my mind at ease!!
xx

Hi Katryn,
I know exactly what you mean. I had mine on Sat, 245 unders, so smaller than yours and I am now worried that I didn't go big enough. I am happy with them but I think I could have gone a bit bigger as at the moment I am measuring a 32C but if they go down I could end up being a B. It just seems a lot of pain for not much gain to me! But, I think if you have a good surgeon he will go to a size that looks right & natural for your frame, unless you've specifically said you like the fake look and want enormous ones. I am also still a bit swollen / water retented from lazing around, eating rubbish! and taking tablets so when I lose a few pounds again I think I'll be really happy with them, especially when I get a bikini on. Before my OP I had NOTHING AT ALL, I bet I wasn't even a AAAcup! so anything is a bonus but i did wear those heavy gel bras so i looked like a 34B. My sister-in-law had hers done, asked for a C/D and ended up a DD, she reckoned hers got bigger instead of less swollen so you never know what will happen! I suppose we wont know exactly what we've got for another few weeks but its hard to wait, I know! Good luck with yours! Ed x

Hey,
Just thought i would see how everything went with Harley Medical Group, i am having mine done with them next Friday but at the Manchester Clinic.
You said you had a lot of hassle and pain, hope this wasn't to bad.
I am getting very nervous now, i am having 350 overs and i am not a 34b cup and size 8.
Hope to hear from you soon.

The Harley Med Group were good- didn't mean stress and hassle from them, but just the effort to get a full week off work and everything! Everything has been OK, though they didn't really give me any advice for aftercare- the nurse said just to keep the dressings dry and not touch them, but have since heard that certain vitamins can help with the healing- vit B12, zinc and folic acid.
Anyway, I'm sure everything will go OK with yours- I didn't have much pain after the op- took me a while to come around properly! I would advise getting lots of rest and chilling out afterwards!
Good luck. xx

Yeah, you sound roughly the same size as me, and you had larger implants, so I guess I am worried that they won't be as big as I wanted once they have settled, but I guess I'll have to wait and see. My surgeon reckoned I didn't have enough skin to cover larger implants, and guess I would have been in more pain after?
It's hard to get these things exactly right! xx

Hi dont worry with unders it could take up to 3 months for the end result its called fluffing, its when the implant settles into the pocket,it usually takes 3/4 weeks?,but you have to remember the implant is nearly flattened by the muscle until it relaxes,so the best is yet to come. i hope this helps? shanixx

Hey, thanks for the message, yeah I think it's gonna take a while for them to settle- they are still quite hard and high up, and feel strange- I know it's normal to loose nipple sensation for a while, but my whole breast feels wierd- did anyone else have this? I just want to know what's normal, and pray that I don't get an infection!!
Thanks

I had 280cc's, at first I only wanted 240s but as im a size 12 and slightly broader, the surgeon recommended i go slightly bigger, so pleased with the results im glad i took his advice, im now a 36B/34C and was a 34 A(small) previously..x
