"Bizou bras" Posted by jenniferlondon 13 March at 23:15
Hello Sarah
A good friend of mine reccomended a place in middlesborough. The web address is -www.bizouboutique.co.uk. Not sure what sizes they do but it'll be worth a look.
They do 'boob job bras' that are supposed to be amazing.
I'm having BA in April and so looking forward to underwear shopping! I have bought one of their bras for nights out.

"Pure lime" Posted by janitee 13 March at 14:32
Pure lime do a support bra that has a back with straps rather than the racer back, its the same price as the other one around £29.00 and they come in black and white. I was thinking of getting one as I am going out and have a top that is quite low at the back and the racer back one shows.

I have the pure lime that you are talking abuot, and although it looks low cut in the picture it really isn't at the front, although would be much better for your back! x

"Hi" Posted by jayx85x 12 March at 23:19
Hi Sarah,
I had the same problem...I had a work night out when I was only 9 days post op. I bought a bra from asda...low support non-underwired, black or white, only £4. It felt supportive enough, was pretty much like a normal plunge bra, only without the underwire! I wouldn't advise wearing an underwired bra so soon..especially if you are having a few drinks as you might aggrivate your scars and not realise.
I know I was a bit naughty, but some girls are advised not to wear a bra at all for the first 6 weeks, so I figured a couple of hours in a slightly less supportive bra would do me no harm. I put my purelime back on as soon as I got home - even though I was quite merry!
Good luck
xx

Shock absorber level 3 are quite low cut. I can wear mine under most tops and you cant see them. They are very comfortable to.

Have you thought of trying a post surgery support bra. M&S do some. I think if you were only wearing it for an evening a non wired support bra would be OK.

"No bra?" Posted by donnamarie2003 13 March at 00:20
My sis wore no bra for a night out a couple weeks after her op. The clinic said it would be ok for a few hours one night, and she had absolutely no problems. Mind you her boobs are a bit smaller than yours, she had 310. Hope you come to a solution! Have a good night with ya new boobs! x

"I went out braless" Posted by twinkle53 16 March at 09:55
Hi. I went out braless for around 5 hours 12 days after my op, 450 unders, and had no pain. I put my sports bra back on as soon as I got home but I am supposed to be going braless from day 14 anyway. I really think sometimes you have to listen to your body and also use your common sense. You could always ask your co-ordinator, Twink xx

"Right been shopping!" Posted by saz77 13 March at 20:49
Got a shock absorber level 3 this morning which is comfy but bit of a pointy look but this is more for everyday as my two pureime front fastenings are a bit tight.
This afternoon is M&S got a post surgery bra which is very comfy and good shape for an everyday support and they had a £6 value bra black for my night out, no wire and a pluge shape, they only went up to DD so instead of a 34E I got 36DD which I supportive enough for a few hours out. They are padded too which is mad but but of added protection I guess!
