Hi, I had a consultation with Transform today. Do you think that they are the IKEA of the Plastic Surgery world???
I'm not sure what to do. I have several other appointments booked, one is with the Harley Street Medical Clinic, which seem to be the same deal as Transform. Is that what you think??
Otherwise I have booked, although not confirmed 3 other private consultations with other PS. The problem with the latter is that you have to pay between 130 -200 pounds for a the consultation, which is totally unrefundable. So if you don't like the surgeon etc you stuck with a bill for nothing. The other thing is - these alternative clinics charge 2-4k more than Transform. Is it worth the extra cash? Or is one ba no different from another????
Please can you help me, I'm so confused about what's the best to do. It's taken me this long to pluck up the courage to have a boob job and now I just want to get the best one I can.
Transform said I can have the ba with Mr. Khan in early May. Have any of you had him? What's he and his work like? Were you happy???
Thanks so much, I'm just so nervous and stressed about the whole thing.
Cheers Lizze xxx

hi lizzie i went with transform my friend had hers done with dr singh, they looked great, i had mine done with dr khan, i felt he rushed me into my descision, spent 5 mins 2nd consultation with me which left me confused, saw him before my op very briefly, felt a bit better about it all although still didnt feel as though i asked all the right questions. after my op i was really happy with the result i was a saggy 34d after having 2 children and now are a 34f its 3 weeks today. i think dr khan did a great job although i didnt think much of the abbey heath staff, but have heard from other friends how well there were treated so its mixed reviews i would recommend dr khan as a surgeon definatly, i was stressed but so glad its done tracy xx good luck or is it a bit late in the day and they are all done and looking stunning.

Hi There
I had my BA 260 overs last Thursday in Belgium. I have researched this company for over 18 months and finally had surgery last week. I am over the moon with my results and at half the price even with paying for travel and accom!
Check out my surgeons website www.plastischechirurgie.info or www.elyzea.com I had mine with Dr Bert Oelbrandt at Elyzea clinic, both surgeon and clinic were amazing! Total cost just under £2k.
Email me privately if you would prefer.
Thanks and Good Luck X

Hi Lizzie
I'm having mine done with Harley Medical on the 10th April, i looked about too at different places but decided to go with Harley Medical as a friend of mine used them and said the service was great. So far i have nothing to compain about they have been really nice and answered all my questions.
I think Harley are one of the more expensive ones but you do get 6 years after care where as the cheaper ones dont offer as much, i personally didnt mind paying a little more to get the better aftercare.
Hope everything goes well xx

I knew for 20years I wanted my boobs done - but never plucked up the courage. When I finally did I was unsure how to find the best surgeon. I knew I wanted one that was on all the registers, BAPS, BAAPS, FRCS etc (any Legal Plastic surgery register going really). I spoke to friends who have had it done - and was warned not to touch a few. I booked a free consultations with the Hospital Group, and two I would pay for with BUPA and BMI. I had the consultation with the BMI The Saxon Clinic first and paid £100 - My surgeon had been qualified and practicing for over 30 years, was on all the registers and ticked all the boxes - I was so impressed with him - I didn't have to ask anything because he totally explained everything - I booked that day for surgery which took place 2 weeks later. At the consultation he gave me his number and the his nurses number if I had any questions or concerns, but I never had to contact him as I felt so at ease and knew he had years of experience and would give me exactly what I had asked for. I am so happy with the results. The aftercare is fantastic too - I saw him and his nurse at 1 week post op, 6 weeks post op. Will see him again at 4 months and twice more after that. I can call them at anytime if I have any problems. Other clinics book the initial consultaion with a patient co-ordinator and this is what put me off about them, I only wanted to speak to the specialist not the sales person. I know there is a risk you wont like your surgeon and may waste money but if you find out your surgeons name beforehand you can find out lots of info before you have to pay anything.
Sorry for droning on - but just wanted to give a different perspective.

Hi, Thanks so much for the advice. You're right about meeting with the patient co-ordinator. Although the girl I chatted to was nice. She did put a bit of pressure on me to book the op there and then and give her 500 quid deposit! I can't help thinking that they work on commission!
I'm going to pay and see one of the surgeons of the 3 that I have booked the appointment with. Just researching which one to plump for!
Thanks again Lizze xx

I have my surgery booked with transform on the 21st april in stirling - scotland, so far they have been fantastic, i had my initial consultation and i was so pleased i booked straight away. I felt confident in my surgeon as we got on well and he was easy to talk to and ask questions. My patient co-ordinator is fantastic i think i must have rang her everyday since i booked with one question or another and she always answers them. I have another consultation booked to see if i can go bigger and to ask the surgeon any last minute niggly questions. I never once found them to be sales orintated. They told me not to make any immediate decisions and call back in a few hours if i really wanted to go ahead - so no pushy sales for me, i rang 20 minutes later and booked. There are loads of places to go where you can have free consultations i wouldnt waste money paying high amounts to see one, they could be rubbish and yoou've just wasted £200. Transform charge £3995 for a BA but i am having anatomicals which cost more so i am paying £4795. Which is about average, i really wouldnt want to be paying £2000 more its expensive as it is. The hospial group ring me everyday even though i have told them i am booked with someone else. I too have waited a long time 10 years since i was 16 and now im doing it and not looking back. I sense your still a bit undecided and nervous and you really do need to find a surgeon you feel comfortable, happy and at ease with. I have heard a lot of good reports about Mr khan im sure there are 10 of him as he seems to be everywhere.

I agree that it's already very expensive for a ba (especially when you consider the amount of cash I've spent on padded bras that are all going to be chucked away!) I've waited 10 years too, since I was 16, what a coincident! What are anatomicals? Good luck on the 21st, I'm hoping to book mine around the 13th May.... I've set myself a deadline for the end of May, that way they're ready for the summer and no more padded bikinis that I hate! Thanks again Lizzee xxx

I would give MYA a try - I went with them 6 weeks ago, no consultation fee and had the op within 10 days. They have been great. I saw Mr Kazzazi who operates from Doncaster amongst others and I know a few girls on here have been with him and been very pleased
Good luck with it all
