My GP recommended them to me. Couldn't be happier so far. Having a second consult next week and surgery in a couple more. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.

"Mybreast were amazing" Posted by josysmith 18 April at 17:32
Hi Paula,
Its such a shame you had a different experience. why don't you give them another go? I had my BA done with mybreast and I am so delighted with everything! I went with Mr Withey who was so genuine and made me feel so comfortable. The girls in the office always called me back and were very helpful. I loved the homecare pack which had a magazine which I brought along to the hospital, a support bra, homeopathic kit with essential oils and much more. I also got an indulgence day where I went to a 5 star hotel and got completely pampered from tip to toe after my surgery. It was part of the mybreast platinum package. what company do you know that offers all of that! I thought to myself I'm only going to do this once so I might aswell go with the breast specialists and they seem to have everything covered in terms of quality , the best BAAPs registered surgeons and amzing aftercare!! I even got a lovely photograph with my pampering day with a d&G dress to celebrate my new look! Why do you give them another go

Hi there,
I was going with them for my ba on 15th May until I found out talking to the surgeon's secretary direct one day that Emma, at Mybreast, who for some reason thought I didn't want to go ahead with the op (???), cancelled my surgery date!!! I phoned Emma and Tez up trying to find out exactly what had gone wrong but was never able to speak to either of them...
As I was going with a very popular surgeon who has a long waiting list, I was told that I would have to wait until September!!!!!
I was not amused to say the least so I decided to liaise with the surgeon's secretary direct(who, by the way is very friendly, helpful and so efficient) and she has done her utmost to bring my surgery date forward....it did get changed to the 17th July and then yesterday I found out I could have it done as early as 22nd May as a lady had cancelled her op.
So this is it for me....22nd May it is now and I am so excited....only thing is....my partner who was supposed to pick me up from hospital is actually away for a week at that time...so I have to find someone else who can give me a lift home....I'm sure it'll get sorted in the end....but nothing is ever easy is it??
I found Mybreast very good to start with until that big mistake was made and I am now going direct via the surgeon's secretary and the hospital...it is about £150 more (not exactly sure why, I would have thought it would have been the other way round) but never mind! I am now spending £5,000 exactly as it is a change of implants and I am having anatomicals.
Best of luck with whatever you decide to do.

"Hi paula!" Posted by rach293 18 April at 10:11
My surgeon and the hospital was the same as you and was fantastic- george spyrou is brilliant but the my breast side of things was'nt up to scratch - they never returned my calls i had to chase them for my care pack and they sent me a 34e bra when im only a c - i never had a patient coordinator either cos i didnt know they existed. I would highly reccomend the surgeon and hospital but would tell people to book direct rach xx

"Re: my breast" Posted by thessaloniki2 18 April at 09:28
I guess everyone has a different experience with them ... but I had my BA done through My Breast & I thought they were alright.
They always returned my calls .... I found e-mailing them to be even more effective .... If I e-mailed them ... they'd ring me back almost immediately. The only bodge I had was with the surgical bra. I thought it was supposed to arrived in the home care pack ... but apparently you have to ring them to tell them what back size you are ... & then, they send it to you. All in all, I found them to be ok ... & as someone has already said: their follow up care is Excellent.
Our lifetime follow up policy for everyone Unlike other providers, Mybreast does not believe your relationship with your surgeon ends once your operation is finished. We offer a lifetime follow up policy, including post-operative checkups that are included in your breast enlargement aftercare package. This means, if and when necessary, a Mybreast surgeon will be available to consult with you at one, five or even ten years following your breast augmentation surgery
... How many deliver that sort of aftercare ??

Have to agree with Bev on this one. The hospital, nurses and surgeon were absolutely amazing. However the Mybreast call centre needs to get a little more organised

"They were fantastic..." Posted by ninanina27 17 April at 23:54
Hi Paula
Isn ... funner how we can have such different experiences of a company, but i found them and my surgeon fantastic... i really could not fault them the hospital the surgeon or their aftercare
I also believe their aftercare to be the best in the industry which is just one of the reasons i went with them as i think that is just as important as the initial surgery
Im really sorry to hear you were not happy, what went wrong? what hospital did you use and what surgeon?

"Re: rude" Posted by thessaloniki2 18 April at 09:37
Yes ... I did have one experience with one of thier team .... I can't remember her name ... but when I called to pay my fee to secure the surgery date, she was really quite rude ...... So rude, I actually e-mailed her to tell her how rude I thought she was & how I thought it was totally unacceptable. She e-mailed me back saying: sorry if that is how she had come across but she had never had complaints of this nature before. The last thing you want is someone stroppy on the other end of the phone

Just had mine with them, brilliant, its the admin that irritate me. I ask for them to msg my surgeon to call me, he doesnt get it until the next day. I havent found them rude but they can be a bit incompetent. Its a let down to the excellent hospital service and surgeons.

"I think" Posted by michelleandmorgen 18 April at 18:34
I have spoken to all of those mentioned above. I found them all pleasant especially Kerry, she called back to make sure I was ok even though my surgeon had already rang me which was really sweet. If I had to do this BA all over again I would choose Mybreast - even with the admin hiccups because of the surgeons being BAAPS/NHS and the fantastic aftercare. At the end of the day what you want are a great pair of boobs and an honest surgeon who seems to actually care what you want to achieve, takes pride in his/her work and strives to ensure you are happy with the result, not just after the money. This is what I have so far and I am happy. I can overlook a few admin hiccups for that.

"Same consultant differnt price tough" Posted by missyanna 22 April at 07:40
Hi,
I will be having my BA in 2 hours time!
My consultant is self employed and works for private hospitals, NHS and my breast. I found him myself but had i gone through My Breast it would have been nearly £1000 more!!!!! Think thats why you get spa days, essential oils etc.....you are paying for that privillage!
Do some research first, the consultants will be great i am sure but My Breast surley get the comission.
