| Thread started by: | "Is there a difference in grams and cc for implants - why do transform quote grams??" Posted by bambibabes 27 April at 15:08
Why do Transform seem to quote Grams in sizes of implants and not CC. Im confused if the implant sizes are the same - is 460cc the same as 460 grams???? Im confused as im being told 410 to 525 grams would be right for my breasts loose skin but from reading the forum, if cc and grams are the same size, these seem bigger than average implants.

Grams are definitely NOT the same as CCs or mililetres!! CCs and mililetres are measurements of VOLUME, and grams are a measurement of WEIGHT. If you measure 460g of rice and 460g of lead ballbearings, the volume will be totally different because they have totally different weights!! If you measure 460cc of rice and 460g or rice and it's the same amount, it's purely coincidental based on the weight of the particular type of rice you've used.
I went through Transform and I don't ever remember being told to measure the rice in grams. I used mililetres and it gave me a fairly accurate idea of what size my implants would be.

Hi, yeah a gram is the same as a cubic centimetre. Same as a mL as well!
