| Thread started by: | "Uplift and implant after big weight loss. any advice??" Posted by charlie99cat 15 May at 13:33
Hi All,
I have just booked an uplift and implant with Harley Medical Group for November. Very excited but nervous too. I have lost a lot of weight - 7 stone so far and it will be 9 stone by the time of my op! This has left me with boobs which feel down to my ankles! Boo Hoo!
Has anyone herer had both the uplift and implant? Can you tell me what to expect in terms of pain, scaring, results. Any tips or advise?
Anything would be fab. Thank you.

Hi Katie
My advice would be 'get it done quick' I did and it's fantastic.
I had implants 2 years ago, but really needed an uplift for the same reasons as you. The surgeon said we should 'just fill them up' first and see how it went. It went great but the shape is not perfect so I'm going back in august to have the last bit done. can't wait.
I didn't think the pain was that bad at all, more very uncomfortable than painful. But well worth it, the scars fade quite quickly, if you're anything like me the finished job is well worth a bit of discomfort.
Let me know how you get on.
Good luck

Wow all that weight loss is fantastic - how did you do it! I'm trying so hard to loose weight so having a ba to even out my size 14 hips, would be so much cheaper if I could loose weight - save me from having a ba!
You should be so proud of yourself
