Hi. I had lipo at Elyzea 18 months ago. I found the nursing staff very helpful and professional, but the surgeon quite abrupt. He got annoyed with me when he was drawing on me cos my leg was shaking with nerves! I felt as if I was being rushed through and that it was all about the money, rather than providing quality. The worst part was part way through the surgeyr, as I woke up from the twilight sedation and could feel what was happening. This was really bad and I was lying there crying begging them to stop. When my boyf came to see me after, he was really worried cos he could see that I was in a right state. 18 moonths on and I have to say the results are not what i'd hoped. I could cope with that cos I know people can have unrealistic aims with lipo, but I have lumps on my thighs that weren't there before, and they are uneven. Elyzea were very dismissive about aftercare and the results. It was 2 grand badly spent! I gather that they've improved their clinic since then so hopefully things are much better, and lots of people on here have had good experiences with BAs, so hopefully there's nothing to worry about. I just thought I should let you know my experience. Charx

Whole thread for the following message:

"Has anyone had a negative experience at elyzea?"

So far I've only found positive comments on the forums, but has anyone had any negatives. It would be for a BA with Dr Oelbrandt - unless someone would highly recommend one of their other surgeons?

Given all the positive stories I've been reading I'm quite keen to go there instead of having things done in the UK, especially given the cost difference.

Thanks in advance

Meriad

"Urgent info needed!!!"
Posted by amyw2812 4 August  at  22:02

I would't normal post a message like this, however I feel really desperate.

I had my operation 3 weeks ago and one of my wounds has started to bleed.

I have tried to contact Elyzea for over a week and just got a voice message. I have also tried to contact my surgeon Dr Moullaem but he dosn't seem to want to call me back.

Could anyone give me a contact number for their surgeon, I just need someone to talk to about it ASAP!! Every where I have read on the internet have said that bleeding is rare and results in the implants being removed, so as you can imagine I am really worried.

Thanks

I had my Op at Elyzea on 11th July with Dr Oelbrandt. I am over the moon with the results and could not fault a thing. The staff at Elyzea were absolutely wonderful and Dr O was also fantastic and very reassuring. He told me when I arrived that he had read a post that I had put on here re him - which I was slightly embarrssed about but advised me that I could e-mail him or call him at anytime and he would answer any questions I had. He has his own website, if you put his name into google you will find it.

I am going for my aftercare appointment on the 11th August with him in London and I have been in contact with him via e-mail over the past couple of weeks and he has always been very helpful.

Good luck, hope this helps.

I've got nothing but positives here also. Had ba at Elyzea 7th April with Dr Dedoncker. Lovely clinic and very kind, caring staff. All speak brilliant english. Dr Dedonkcer was very professional, man of few words but really seemed to know his stuff. My whole experience...I could not fault.

I will stress to anyone planning on going alone, DON'T. I could not have managed my bag without my fiance...could lift or move my arms for first few days.

If you're planning a ba...don't hesitate in considering Elyzea. Top Class!

All the best x

And who are your new additions now? Did you find him a bit off the wall?

Kind regards

"Can't go wrong with elyzea"
Posted by goldenbrown1 16 May  at  16:41

Hi Meriad

All the surgeons at Elyzea are excellent and some specialize with nipple incision and others incision under the boob and glued, overs, unders not sure about partials but you have a wide choice. I originally had one consultation where I live and I was told that it was impossible to have cohesive silicone gel implant inserted through the nipple as you can not fit them through a small incision. Well he was wrong because that is what I did have at Elyzea, much to my suprise. Dr Tondu did mine but I was scheduled to have Dr Dedoncker but he refused as I was on my own (don't recomment this to anyone if poss) and I do respect his decision though he was extremely harsh (scouled at me most of the time) and in stepped Dr Tondu and what a gentleman he was, felt at ease immediately with him, so kind and no question a bother to answer.

Like I said all the surgeons they have are excellent, plus I think they mostly do BA's and all surgeons have at least 10 years experience. Plus you get a lifetime guarentee with the implants against cc and you just don't get that in the UK. If you do have a problem after your BA because there is always a small percentage this could happen I was assured they would correct it free of charge.

Hope you have enough information about Elyzea and if you want to ring them just speak to Antonia tel no. 0032 27359275, she'll answer any other questions you have.

Let us all know what you decide to do and good luck.

xx

"Dr neuprez, a year on."
Posted by sami076 16 May  at  11:22

Hiya,

I had a ba with Elyzea 11 months and 2 weeks ago! I had Dr Neuprez the female surgeon, cant reccomend her enough.
Iv been in regular contact with Elyzea over the months, any worrys or questions iv had have been answered straight away, although its abroad they never forget you, all the usual normal things associated with a ba iv had, hard boobs, numbness, 1 slightly bigger, little bumps and ripples, you name it iv been through that stage lol, now nearly a year on my boobs are soft, smooth and more or less like they were pre op, just much bigger! My scars were glued too, now i can barely see them.

The support iv had from this company, especially Antonia has been second to non, i cant fault them, all the best for your op xx
