| Thread started by: | "Base 13.5 or 13.... does it really make a difference? or is it last min nerves? pls help!" Posted by ctate82 22 May at 17:43
hi im due in surgery tomo morn at 8am....
im due to have 13.5 base anotomicals 420grams my surgion said my base can be 13, 13.5 or 14... so i chose the middle one...
but at the last min im wondering if 13.5 base will look to wide? should i ask for 13? or am i being silly? i doubt they can even change the implant size im having this late in the day?
ive got silly visions of them being way toooo wide? i think ive built the idea up in my head now and its got way out of control!
does anyone know what i mean? do you think the 0.5 cm base difference is worth worring about?

Trust the surgeon and ask for hes opinion babe. he must habe done it 100 times before, my surgeon said low profiles, i chose high, panicing i have made the wrong choice!

Sure it sounds fine to me hun. Last minute nerves are probably starting to kick in... Look at it this way. 0.5cm when under your boob is just 2.5mm wider either side
Good luck for tomorrow hun :hugs:

In a word - no! .... to be honest I doubt it would make hardly any difference at all.
Have you actually measured 0.5cm ? .... it is so tiny ...once that impant is inside you,0.5cm will make next to no difference at all in my opinion. I think you are just worrying yourself silly ctate :hugs:
Try not to stress too much .... do something to take your mind off it for a while ... I'm sure everything will be just fine
Oh & all the very best for tomorrow .... I'll keep my fingers crossed for you ok
