Hi girls, as always am popping onto here as know somebody will know a good sensible answer to my problems to stop my panicing!!! Ok had my ba unders on the 8th of May. Had dressing on for a week and then had steri strips on for last week. Peeled them off today. So look of scars is not that pretty-pretty bumpy, bit corded and not that great. Have managed to get myself to very gently massage in some neutral cream and bio oil, but is thatthe best thing? My ps just said re bio oil and baths but any comments re silicoe gel /sheets over night? Also will the scars improve, I model a bit and am bit anxious?!! Thanks as always xxxx

Just to let you know, I had my ba 7th May, took my steri-strips off yesterday, and started using Bio-Oil.I must say when I have used it before on scars, it realy has worked.

Help us girls!!! I know bio-oil is supposed to be very good but I'm inpatient heehee. I think just keep massaging and applying pressure to them... my bumps have gone, now just need the pinkness to fade xxx

I hear bio-oil is good- I've used Palmers scar serum before on other scars and had good results- I'm planning on using that on my scars when my time comes! (it smells a bit, but worth it in my opinion).

In terms of modelling, there's makeup available which covers tattoos/birthmarks, so I'm sure if your fully healed that might be an option? I'm sorry the name evades me at the moment but when it comes to me I will let you know!

Leichner camera clear, but only use when fully healed so as not to cause irritation, beside they can just photoshop out the scars nowadays.

I'm almost running out of my first bottle of bio-oil so may try this next!! Worth a try heehee - mix and match!!! x x
