this is the first time i have used this site but it seems just what i need to put my mind at rest!
i am hoping to have ba in the near future and have booked some consultations but i dont know who is the best surgeon!
have app booked with THG with mr federico de gado
also- dr guy d sterne at birmingham clinic(my breast.org)
have got one with harley med group but they have not told me who with-so that must be a bad sign??!!

my friend had hers done at harley but she wont acctually show me what hers look like-although she thinks they are fab!
just looking for some advice girls! also i think i want mine under the muscle(my friend had hers on top?) not quite sure which is best!!!

i would go ahead and have all consultations, then go with the surgeon who makes u the most comfortable and who u like the most, as for having overs or unders ure surgeon is the only one who can tell u this depending on ure breast tissue, good luck.

hi thanks for replying- have you had ba if so who did you have yours one with? i think unders look more natural-im only 7stone 10 so they would prob look better!

was looking yesterday at some very dodgy looking implants that nearly put me off thats why im trying to do my research!!

I had mine done with THG 7 weeks ago,had mr Michael payne(excuse the pun),i had 350cc very high profile implants under the muscle,and went from a 34 small c to 32 e so far,im 8 stone 5 foot 2,size 10,i look in proportion and my boobs look very natural,my other half said they look just like my old ones but sooped up!! hehehe!

I had my ba done on Monday (21st May) with the hospital group with Mr Straten. I thought they were great. I had 350cc overs (b do a dd cup). I would go to as many free consultations as you can and go with your gut feeling.

Have you tried doing the rice test? Worth a try for you to have an idea of what size you would like.

i just tried the rice test earlier with 300cc i am i 32a/b so would like to be d cup but dont want to have them done and then think they are too small would rather go slightly bigger!!
want to get my moneys worth!! ha ha
soungs like thg are good then-i have my first cons with them, it is easier because they pick you up and i have a set on 2 1/2 yr old twins-so that would make things much easier!!

2 year old twins - bit of a handful then! I had the chauffer service as I have two children and you have to be there by 7am! I was picked up at 4 am and went into surgery at 9:30am which wasn't bad. I live about 3 hours away and it was nice to switch off and not worry about the kids.

On the way back my driver got me a comfy pillow and a bottle of water, bless! They were all lovely at the hospital (Bromsgrove) nurses were lovely - they even have a complimentary beautician!

Another test you can do is a water test, you fill up an airlock bag with similar ml to cc (ie 300ml water) and can do it this way but can't imagine the shape being round?

My surgeon let me try on some implants at the consultation and he would also suggest some sizes. I'd say 300 - 350cc are the most popular sized implants if you want a natural look. I haven't told anyone apart from my mother and hubby and nobody's noticed as I always wore a padded bra and chicken fillets!

i have just gone back through some older threads and quite a few people have not been happy with thg? are you happy with your results?

seem to be going round in circles-some people like transform others have said they have had surgery re done.
someone else dont go anywhere near thg and some people dont like harley!!!!!

I found THG brill. I've only seen 2 posts where people weren't happy, depends whether there may have been communication break down between surgeon and person having ba?

You need to be really sure what breast size you want and the type of look you would like. Some people have gone in telling them they're a b cup (when actually a c - been wearing wrong size bra) and end up bigger or vice versa so I got myself measured in M&S beforehand just to be sure.

Basically 150cc is a cup size, if you want to go up 2 cup sizes people usually have 300cc you would need a little more if you're having unders (surgeon will work this out for you). Also ask to try on some implants for a better idea and if you want the natural look you should stress this as I did and mine are lovely.

My sis, cousin and two friends went with THG and they are more than happy with their results which is why I went. I would recommend Mr Straten, he was fab I also hear that Mr Payne is also really good. Maybe some negative comments were about the surgeon rather that THG - try to find out which surgeon they had too.

I would also take out an after care package which would cover you should you need any re-ops. I took out 3 years cover with THG which also covers capsular contraction, they are one of the few companies who will cover this.

A friend had her breasts done with Transform (not sure who with) and she is really unhappy and they will not let her have a re-op due to some small print maybe she didn't take out aftercare? Some companies don't even give you a chance to see the surgeon at the consultation and if you do see the surgeon it's only for a few minutes! You would need at least half an hour with him, I was an hour chatting away to him.

Best to go to the consultation and see how you feel, you need to be really sure before you go ahead. I only had one consultation but I was really happy with my consultation and went ahead with my surgery and I am more than happy. I can send you pics if you like.

i am booked in with mr federico de gado but there was some good posts about him a while back-just been sat reading them to find out as much info as poss!
if im not happy with him i will ask for mr straten-or should i cancel mr gado and ask for him instead!
