I agree with Anne bout the agency nurses, they seem to care more bout their tea breaks! The other nurses were brill tho, as were the anaestetists, chaffeur etc. I was told I was 3rd in n due down to theatre bout 12 but Renato came down to me bout 11:15 am to do his photos n drawins on me etc n said to the nurse I can go straight up to theatre so ended up goin in half an hr early. Cos the flyt they had booked me on wasn't until 4pm the next day they let me stay in my room til 2pm jus watchin tele n that -they even brought me some lunch at about 1pm.
I kno everyones experiences with THG are different but all in all mine was absolutely brilliant.

I also had Renato Zacchaddu for my ba, but had a very good experience with him! I'm only 3 wks post op but have had no probs so far and at not one point have I wished I'd have had a different surgeon, I'm rly glad I chose him. Overall I think he's done a fab job, he also done my patient care co-ordinators n the beauticians n they agree.

I have had a BA with nipple lift combined op back in Sept 06. There was a 2cm difference between the levels of my breast so my surgeon RENATO ZACHEDDU at the hospital group advised a nipple lift would even this out without the need for a full uplift which would result in more scars.
I had 325cc in the left and 400cc in the right implanted through the nipple- this left me with minimal scars which could hardly be seen (I went to my GP and he had to ask where the scar was!) The scar not being under the breast also means that your bra wont rub on it whilst healing- much better!
After my op I ended up MUCH larger than I wanted, I was a 34/36B, asked to go to a D cup, I ended up wearing 34F, sometimes even a 34G. Some people may think of this as a plus, until you start to realise, fitting into clothes without looking like youre wearing a tent isnt easy. Bra prices, most shops go up to a D, possibly E cup. Getting a F or G cup bumps prices up from say £10 for a niceish bra from high street shop, to £30+ from larger ladies shop- not much choice either. Going up 7 sizes in one op proved painful and the caused skin to stretch immensely
Also, the difference in nipple levels was more prominent than ever. It took me 4months of battling with THG to get corrective surgery. After months of me chasing them and endless phone calls they finally agreed to correct. I had a 2nd nipple lift on 17th April 07. When I came around I was in WAY more pain than last time, having much more morphine to cancel out the pain.
I had my dressings off last week (I dont think you would be bandaged up with this type of ba and lift) Its not pretty. But fingers crossed the swelling will settle and my breasts will even out. The level is the same now, though my right breast is, i would say at present 1 cup size smaller than the left.
My experience with The Hospital Group has been horrendous. I have been treated appallingly and left with further scars due to corrective surgery as the procedure wasnt carried out right the first time around.
I would not recommend this company to ANYONE.
****
I am now 6 weeks post op of my corrective surgery the nipple level has evened out pretty much, but one breast is still lower than the other.
When I mentioned my concerns to the Nurse- her response was, well you can talk to another surgern next time- As if it was just the nor to have to go through **3** traumatic operations to get the result I was promised the first time around!!!! Ridiculous.
THINK VERY CAREFULLY AND BE PREPARED FOR THINGS NOT TO TURN OUT QUITE AS EXPECTED.

To add to what shani said I didnt have my op till 4pm and was starving! also wasnt given a meal in the evening even though I asked for one I just got tea and toast so my belly kept growling all night! of course thats not Mr aracos fault its more the fact the care is a bit mixed due to thg employing a lot of agency nurses...their permanent staff are excellent tho

I had my ba with Mr Araco on 19th may....I am very pleased with the results so far ..He is a young italian surgeon with a strong accent, Just show him what you are hoping to achieve..I asked to go as big as possible that would look natural.and ended up with 375 unders to take me to a full d. embarasingly enough on day of surgery the anaethatist was an old friend of mine...and he has watched mr araco performing his surgeries and he described him as very slick and a great surgeon..Good luck maybe you could have consults with more than one? xx
