Right, having been using this forum in the months leading up to my b.a and having just had mine which i am very unhappy with, i really felt i had to address something.

First of all i was a 32aa before and i had 365 and 400 high profile unders. i am 3 weeks post op, seem to have dropped completely, am lucky if i measure a small (need to put the emphasise on small here)C...however as fake boobs look considerably smaller i look about a B naked and still an extremely flat chested A in clothes (im not allowed to wear a bra at the moment). Im a size 8 so do not look in proportion at all. At the moment i cannot wait til the 6 week mark to buy the heavily gel padded bra and chicken fillets i can find. Really, really upsetting after 4 grand.

So on to my point - the info on this sight is so misleading and i urge all girls to be extremely wary. When i first went for my consultations and found this sight all i heard was that 270 - 300cc was giving people these wonderfull 32dd's from a 32a, with people ending up with 32e's and 32f's from just 315 and 350cc!! take a look back the threads - these claims are EVERYWHERE!! and all of them unders. i have been looking at girls pictures with 300cc unders with boobs small enough to be a real boob size a, but of course were measuring a "32d"!! Even the surgeons claim that 350 cc will easily take u to "full c small d". Rubbish. Basically as fake boobs look so much smaller, your luck to look a B. Ive came to the conclusion that more surgeons working for uk practices are only experienced in the 250-450cc range so will try to fob everyone off with that size.

Therefore, with all these wonderful 32d's, you can imagiane what a decent size i thought 400cc would be. how wrong i was. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THESE COMMENTS AND THINK YOU WILL LOOK LIKE A REAL PAIR OF D CUPS BECAUSE U WONT. I found an american websight, they seem to favour bigger boobs over there (just google b4 and after pics dont have the link soz) and it let me into a shocking discovery. It shows HUNDREDS before and after pics with stats and cc, this is what it showed:

AA to B: 270-320 CC
AA TO C: 350-400 CC
AA TO D: 450-550 CC

I really wish id had this information and demanded 550cc to take me to a d, a really decent size like i wanted (i did not want just boobs i wanted large for my money). Please do not be under the illusion that with 350 cc u will have a decent sized pair. And please if u want to get your 4 grands worth then take this on board.

Sorry you're not happy with your boobs,but like its been said before i dont think anyone knows how theyre boobs are gonna turn out....sizewise....until they are done.

Girls can have small implants and get big results,whereas some have large implants expecting huge boobs,and not get to be as big as they'd hoped.

My mum was a 34A and had 325cc unders nearly 2 years ago.....i was a 32A/B had 380/410cc overs feb this year and expected to be a lot bigger than my mum.We are now about the same size...and hers look bigger at the top cos they're more rounded,and i was told overs looked more fake.My overs look more natural than my mums.

What i'm getting at is we never know the outcome of what we're gonna get,and i dont think we expect the results we get sometimes.Surgeons only seem to advise us too on what size we should acheive...they never guarantee.

Have you been sized in somewhere like Debenhams yet as you may get a nice surprise....you may be bigger than you thought,plus when you get to be able to wear bras at your 6 weeks,you'll be able to see which styles look better for you.

I had 285 and 310 high profile unders, I was a b cup pre op am now a 32 e and am 8 weeks post op. I thought i'd only end up a c or d so was very surprised xx

It is a little unfair to say the girls on here are misleading. They are just telling of thier own experiences. And it is early days for both me and you so hopefully we both will experience fluffing!! Take care xxx

Would like to say I was told by elyzea that 250-300cc unders would take me to a full C cup from a 32A which I had originally. Im now near enough 3 weeks post op and I can say that yes, my boobs look better, but they are not what I wanted. In clothes im still completely flat cheasted. When people find out I have had a boob job they are shocked and think it was a waste of money as I look no different.

On all of my threads I have said how unhappy I am and this thread has explained why. Before my op I didnt realise fake boobs look smaller than real boobs.

Hi,appreciate your point of view about this.

I am currently a 32C and having 340 overs. My understanding is the more breast tissue the better! so in your situation and others i expect... you may not have a lot of tissue therefore if you had 340's they may look out of proportion OR not have a great shape, whereas girls that have had a bit of tissue & have 340's look different because it depends on the original size before BA.
( not being a cow, but i feel i'm right in what i'm saying)

thats not completly true when i asked for 380s my surgeon told me it would be to big on my frame. he showed me girls tho that had only gone up a cup size or 2 that had 380s but he said cos they had more breast tissue originally they needed a bigger implant to fill the skin that was allready there.

I think you are being extremely unfair in blaming the contributors to this forum for that. The experiences shared on here are from regular girls who have had or are contemplating a BA, we are not experts or surgeons and we are expressing opinions and views, not giving medically qualified advice. It is your responsibility, and that of your surgeon, to make sure you both understand what you are trying to achieve. For the most part those of us that have posted our stats have also posted pics so there is a visual to support our "claims". I had 335 high profile overs taking me from a B to an F - what is misleading about that? I have posted before and after pics, and the information is FACTUAL.

I am genuinely sorry for you if you are not happy and I would not wish that on anyone, but I would suggest that you speak to your surgeon and express your concerns. Please also bear in mind that it is early days for you and you may still yet grow - I changed shape and size constantly in the first month. I would say to anyone contemplating the size issue to be patently clear with your surgeon as to what you want to achieve, with pictures if necessary.

I had 300 cc overs, taking me to a 34e. The end result is dependant on a lot of factors and you can't make a direct comparison between yourself and other girls results. We are all different shapes and sizes. Any reputable surgeon will give you all the facts and go through with you the expected outcome, based on you as an individual and until you are both happy that you are in agreement, you shouldn't go ahead. It isn't an exact science, but a good surgeon will be able to give a pretty good indication of what he expects to achieve and will explain why.

I'm sorry that you are disappointed, it's a lot to go through to be unhappy at the end, but as Ellie says, it's early days - give yourself a bit more time and you might change your mind.

you are effectively saying that those of us who had 270cc - 300cc unders are liars. I was 32aa and am now 30E in most bras - yet I only had 270cc and they were unders. I haven't lied about that - but what I will say is that my 30E is only the equivalent of a 32dd or a 34d or a 36c. Alot of it depends on your ribcage measurements to start with. Mine look like a d cup - which I am more than happy with because I only wanted a c to begin with - hell anything was better than what I started with. My body couldn't have taken much of a bigger size without looking ridiculous.

None of us on here claim to be surgeons and I think you'll find if you read back that we mostly say we aren't experts and that you should ask your surgeons advice.

I'm sorry that you are unhappy with yours, but you are only 3 weeks post op and you still have alot of settling to do, at 3 weeks I was wearing a 32c sportsbra.

No-one on here is deliberately trying to mislead anyone - we are here to try and support and answer questions if we can - but ultimately they should go with what their surgeon advises as we aren't proffessionals.

i'm sorry ur unhappy with the size of urs. i do no what u mean about fake looking small. i think u have to remember that a 32D is much smaller than a 36D. i think ur unders will grow thou esp since u had high profile in i would have thought u'd defo measure a 32D but u may have to give it time. i don't think the british surgeon's r trying 2 fob us off with smaller implants cos there's only so much u can squeeze in without complications and u don't want to put ur body under 2 much stress. i had 350cc unders and went from a 32A to a 32DD- really that's what they measure BUT they look a C/D and much, much smaller than real 32DD's. i think u have to try the rice test and see what u look like b4 u agree on a size cos more important than size (i think) is to be in proportion.

i saw that website but i don't think they measure right, there were some women they said measured a B-cup pre-op and looked the same size as my friend a natural 34D!!

Sorry to hear your so unhappy with your BA. I did loads of research on this site and american sites and found that they favoured the bigger size which helped me with my choice. Im 5'8 and around 11lb 5 mark. I tried 380's in my bra and was shocked at how big they where. I looked around and mustve trawled through thousands of before and after photos. There is a HUGE difference between this site and an American one. This site favours the smaller cc's and a few times i posted that i was going to 500 cc and got replies that I'd probably be HUGE and i got nervous. I posted same on the American site and was told that they'd fit my frame just right and they have. I had 500cc mod prof plus sili overs and theyve took me to an "official" e cup but I much prefer DD cups and i look very in proportion. Also you have to take into account that nearly everyone wished they'd gone a tad bigger so initially i wanted 450's so opted for 500's - sooo glad i did. Any smaller i wouldve been upet and any bigger i wouldve felt too big.
PS i started out a very droopy b cup after having 5 kids.

i think you did your research well must admit i glanced at usa sites and 500cc - 700cc were the norm for usa women!

it was easy for me this time round as this is 2nd ba. so i used my 1st ba as the main guideline. i had 360cc unders was 32aa size6 5'3 slim no fat yet only took me to 32c (in real life 32b) so really it depends on your frame on the outcome

i now have 605cc mods and really happy with the size, i would definately not go larger, and not smaller BUT PERHAPS MORE PROJECTION, so im debating on the 615cc hi profile if i have a redo. which was my original choice (oooh pls dont ask how i ended up wi the mods lol )
i dont look huge or a freak, i look more or less as i did when 32c wearing my gel n push up bra.

so glad i didn listen to my gfs at work, ooooh 600cc will b far tooo big'
even my fiance and my best friend (my ex) agree that there no point goin up just 100 or 150cc cos that is just a cup size and i wanted to go frm 32b/c to 32e/ee

just had quick look at my boobs and they softening up nicely and the cleavage is not so tight now so it may be ok.

i find the overs are sooo much fun, they are so many changes, changes every hour of the day! be interesting to see the final results.

so much to take in isnt there.

cheryl can i see some of your pics of before and after, i know we are diff stats but i have not seen may large implants sizes in mods. only seen 525cc high ones

I am so glad in a way that I knew very little about implant v cup sizes before my BA. I would have been very confused I think.

I told the PS I wanted to be a C cup and he tried various implants until I felt happy.

In the event I am a 32d/dd from a 32a/b with 300CC HP overs.

That I think proves the point that its all about what you start with and more importantly your build.
I have read of girls with smaller implants than me getting to a dd/e.

I do agree though for those yet to decide that you should go bigger if in doubt rather than smaller.

hi hun just wante d to say i had 410mhp overs im def not a c/d lol im 32e and size 8 ,8 stone and look a large d cup so im pleased

the final size of ba is very often the reason for women unhappy with their ba and for many opting a reop for larger size.

fake breast measurement are Not the same as natural breast measurement! fake breasts are always at least one cup size smaller ie E cup looks like DD cup.
to achieve the cup size, you need to ask for the cup size HIGHER.

for my 1st op, many yrs ago. i asked c cup. i wore c cup bra for 14yrs! but only looked like a full B.

my recent reop, i asked for EE in hope for an E. not sure what i will measure,early days yet but it looks like an E or EE, Badiali says i maybe F (in surgeon terms that means EE lol). so dont be afraid to ask for larger size!

HOWEVER!!! especaially if you are getting UNDERS... surgeon can only fit in as large as they can physically able to. as the muscle is very tight and cannot accomodate large implants without it looking unnatural or without complications. you may need 2 surgery so that the 1st ba stretches the muscle.

overs (my opinion) looks larger! (iv had both unders and overs) the shape of unders and overs are VERY different. Unders takes on a more compressed appearance until fully dropped which may take many months up to a year.
Muscle compresses a approx 50cc so you lose that also.

my complete unders taken almost 10yrs to drop into a slope, but by then (i didnt realise until last wk) my implant had ruptured and silicone spread thru my poor lil body (this does not happen now cos we now have gel implants

when i had my 1st ba, surgeon could only fit in 360cc (was 32aa) 14yrs later, surgeon was prepared to squeeze in 550cc as my muscle is looser.

i agree, HIGH PRO may results in larger cup size! HOWEVER does not have to mean will LOOK bigger. SIZE IS JUST A NUMBER. it how big it LOOKS and feels that matter.

MODERATE PLUS i think you will definately get less boob greed' cos you and others tend to look at your breast face on, frontal view. and moderates looks large from face on. and you get a very GOOD cleavage with moderates.

with hp looking face on, sometime appears smaller cos you dont see the projection from face on! and hp are narrower, less cleavage.

you may need to ask yourself, do you want cleavage or projection?
you need to do your research, talk to girls here who already had ba, esp those who had reop due to size issues, (THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE WHO GIVEN ME ADVICE AND SUPPORT good communication with your surgeon,

omg what have i let myself in for, someone help me lol. now i am ranting, just 4day po.

my 600cc looks fantastic size for my lil size 6 frame. dont look to big at all. would not wish it to be much smaller. however i may decide for reop for hp as they maybe bit wide. stil in bandage so cant make much judgement yet.
i had the choice of 600cc hi or mods. and the day of my op i was groggy from the meds given the day before surgery. and opted for mods when i actually meant HP ooops

hope this helps a little, but even i find it diff to get it perfect, well almost perfect. will let you knw when things settle

have you ever made a decision for months if not years and then on the day, everything goes out of the window and you change your mind for some reason. thats what i did.
hell i was spot on too 600hp will be sooooo purfect.

im scared to take bandages off tomorrow and will not allow my fiance to see me. he has invited me to his football function on saturday but im not going if they are not right ha! i will make him pay for a reop if they not! but hopefully it will be ok

i read ure post and agree with what u r saying i too was also very dissapointed, i had my boob job in april last yr, i never came onto this website cos i never knew about it until a woman who was on the transport bus told me about this site, so i wasnt given any info from anyone only what info i had discussed with my surgeon, i asked my surgeon if i could be in proportion with my body i was 34a to start he told me 300cc overs would bring me to small c and that would make me in good proportion, its now a yr on and im measuring a 34B am quite gutted as i wanted to be a C, i payed all that money and not many people even noticed, i still wear padded bras and im even thinking about going abroad now to make them bigger (do u think im selfish for doing that) i feel let down and perhaps i should have done more research, but i acted on what surgeon told me and agreed to have what he said but if id done more research i would have def gone bigger, but my surgeon did tell me the bigger u go the more complications so that sort of put me off a bit then, but now talking to other people u find not many have had complications at all, hope this helps that u r not alone regarding ure boobs. take care speak soon. xx

I had 385cc and went from a 34a/small b to 34dd with them!. I think its unfair that you make out people on this site are missleading others, its just a share of experinces we are not experts. Howerver your surgeon should of been able to advice I think you should take your frustrations to him. Mine was absolutely spot on and yes he talked about diameter of implant as much as he did cc.

I had 305cc unders 5 weeks ago and i am a measuring a 32DD/E now, sorry to hear that you have had a bad experiance and you aren't happy but you should take this up with your oewn surgeon, a girl i know on another forum had 525cc and she is now in a G cup so its impossible to predict what will happen,
