"Invisalign" Posted by astra180 11 June at 01:01
Not 100% sure what crossbite is. But i have had invisalign on my teeth for 18 months. Had to pay £3000 for it. Would cost £500 more if i had it on bottom teeth as well. Basically it is an invisible brace. Ur orthodontist needs to be trained in it. If he/she isnt i'm sure one near you is. It has really straightened up my teeth and i actually prefer wearing it (like a gum shield but alot thinner) cos it makes my teeth shiny. I was told my bottom jaw hadnt grown out enough and that i could have it broken and brought forward but i thought that was abit drastic. I would've still needed a brace too. Invisalign have a website.

"Hi there" Posted by louise1972 5 June at 00:58
Hi i had fixed braces when i was 28 iam now 35. I had my sisters wedding then the year after i was pregnant i looked great with my bump and braces . It took 2years & 3 months before they came off . but what a difference i have lovely straight teeth. It takes longer to move teeth in adults than chidren, i know this as iam a dental nurse. I didnt have surgery but you will be fine , it will be worth it , people comment on my teeth being nice & straight which is good in my job! Go for it & good luck. XX Louise

"Braces" Posted by jinjan5 3 June at 20:02
Hi
Ive no idea what cross bite is but I just wanted to tell you about my son. He was told he would have to wear traintrack braces for 3 years but everything the ortho wanted to achieve happened in only 18 months, and his teeth look fab!!
Guess what Im saying is that you may achieve your desired results in a relatively short time, after all a year flies by!!
Wishing you all the best x
