"6 days post op uncomfortable"

Hiya

I am 6 days post op and am starting to feel rather uncomfortable. I had my strapping off yesterday after being stapped up like a mummy! and now I feel slighly uncomfortable. I love my boobs but they seem rather fuller in the last day or so. They fill slightly harder. They are not rock hard (know what that feels like as had a problem straight after surgery with one rock hard) but they do feel tighter. I am hoping its because the strapping has come off and its me having to now get used to them not being pushed together )(if you get what I mean). Does/has anybody else experienced this.

I am probably worrying over nothing.

Your comments would be great

thanks Lisa xxxxx

hi lisa,
i had overs and strapping, which was taken off on day 7.
it did feel different afterwards as i suppose while the strapping was on there was no chance of them moving or starting to settle in. they do seem fuller afterwards which i pressume is while theyre strapped up it doesnt allow the swelling to happen so much. mine do seem hard but not rock hard and i am now nearly 2 weeks post op. every day seems different, and we all heal at different rates. any niggles just keep posting and im sure someone can put your mind at rest. no need to worry. donna.xx

Hi Donna

thanks for your reply. Getting up this morning was not to bad. They feel slightly better this morning. Can I ask have you started massaging I have some bio oil but have not started using it yet. Thought I would start once the stitches are out.

Hi Lisa.
On my 7 day check up i was told to start massaging(not sure if im doing it right) but not to use any oil or creams on them. I suppose this is just to be sure i dont get an infection. Every nurse/ ps has different advice. I think a lot of people seem to say use bio oil when scars have healed. My mum had a major op not so long ago and started using bio oil 3 wks later and it made her scars sore. Everybody is different, i say go with what you feel comfortable with.xxx

Hi thank you so much for your reply. I am pleased to hear that I suppose its just getting used to the size and weight aswell. I think I should take it easy aswell as I must admit apart from the first 2-3 days I have sort of just got on with things as I have been feeling great!

thanks xxxx
