I am 2 weeks post op. My left nipple has always been in only corrected itself when I breast fed and then went back to being inverted. My surgeon again offered to correct it but I thought whats the point I have gone this long with it like this and it does not really bother me. Since my op this nipple is out all the time not sure if it is because maybe its still slightly swollen but all being well it will stay like it!

I am due to have ba in 5 weeks (waaaahoooo!).

My left nipple is not inverted but it doesnt stick out as much as the other.

Anyone else have this problem, and if so do you know if the implants will push it out a bit more??!!

i have got inverted nips and i also was given the choice to have them corrected with more money but i didnt have the extra money and i thought it rob wouldnt matter as much if i at least had some boobs so i had just my ba and the imlants have pushed my nipples out slightly but not fully but they look loads better i have got pics on icturetrail if u wana look pm me!!

both mine were inverted, so yeah not did i have no boobs, i had no nips either.

i could have paid extra for my ps to rectify my nips properly or just leave it and see what happens. He said (without me even mentioning it) that he couldn't guarantee that the implants would solve the problem. I deicded that if it was enough for him to mention it then there was at least a chance that the implants would solve it, saving me money!!

My nips are now as they should be.

I had been using the Avant niplette (women use it before breast feeding if they have flat nips), using that helped sort mine a bit before surgery and i think the implants did the rest.

Maybe if u try using the Avant Niplette for a few weeks before ur BA then the implant will push the nip out.

Maybe ask ur ps what they think

Thats loads of help I have previously used the nipplette before but gave up at it hurt. But i'll give it another bash beore my ba!!
