have my ba next sunday and was wondering do they tell you to stop taking the pill? i dont have my pre op till tues.

I've been for my consultation and I think it was only the combined pill that you had to stop taking? Don't quote me on this, although I'm on the pill (not combined) and I've not been told to stop taking mine. I've got my BA on monday - so excited xxx

I was also advised to stop taking it, so once I came off for my next period I stopped taking it. I am 5 days post surgery and went to the Doc's today to get it back. Looking forward to going back on it as I really had forgotten how bad my periods were before I had gone on it!

im having my op wiv transform in 6 days !! and yeah they told me to dtop taking my pill so i have , reduces the chance of dvts .
