"Try this 15 minute (non-dizzy) weight loss solution!" Posted by sueyoung 27 June at 06:20
Hi there, I did the Atkins thing some years ago and can definitely relate to the the 'dizzy thing', and the 'get me some carbs thing'!
For a 'non-dizzy' change', why don't you try this 15 minute workout, it really works and you can see actual photos of my butt (I was so inspired by my efforts I built my own web-site) that prove it.
Of course you still need to watch what you eat. And for me that means low carbs in the afternoon, but you know all about that, being an Atkins graduate. Dropping those carbs does work doesn ... but you shouldn't be starving yourself, and with having a BA your body will be needing to do a little repair work, so Mr Atkins again, make sure you have plenty of protein, the bodies building block> Back to the miraculous 15 minute workout, you'll drop weight, tone your muscles and especially important strengthen and tope up your chest.
The secret is that when you are doing the very short cardio section, you need to tense everything in your upper body, your abs, your arms, your chest, your back, just tense up everything you can, but keep your cardio going.
It's almost like an isometric exercise, but boy oh boy you can see and feel the results after the very first time. What you do is alternate between jogging or start-jumps, and rolling through a set of lower and upper body exercises, including squats, lunges, hip-thrusts (amazing results for your lower half with this), then whatever upper body exercises you like. I do 1 set of 25, then the cardio which is about 1 minute of jogging, last 20 seconds I sprint (well I call it sprinting anyway) and jut alternate through the exercises.<P>
The upper body exercise I like best is the good old girls press-up. No weights needed, not too hard on the body, and by keeping my stomach pulled in good and hard my whole upper body gets a workout. Hope this helps and good luck with your BA, my friend was thrilled with hers. And if you're not sure about what exercises to do you can see them on my site, just click on the 15 minute workout link on the nav bar. Good Luck.
