"Payment at elyzea???"

Hi ladies

Just wondering if anyone has any info as to how you pay Elyzea for the op? Is it by bankers draft? And how do bankers drafts work? Sorry if it sounds as though im being dumb! I just dont want to carry all that cash over there with me!

Im going to book my UL/BA for October, so excited but it seems so far away!
Oh well, gives me more time to save and hopefully find a cheaper travel and hotel deal!

Thanks in advance for any advice

Steff xxx

i sent a cheque to elyzea- it was fine and got deducted of surgery- there was no charge for this

it's also safe and is sent to the ing bank in london so you don't sent abroad!!

Hi Steff,

I had my BA at Elyzea on the 16th June and I paid my deposit by cheque and I paid the remaining via bankers draft. I just went into the bank and told the lady I was having sugery (she was great) but then I decided to extend a car loan I already have as it would only mean extending the loan over another year. However to do this I had to have a guy to sort it out and the lady bless her told him it was for a car loan!

He kept asking my about the car I was getting and I ended up spinning a story ongetting a car on ebay, but he kept saying how do you know it's going to cost that exact figure?! inside I was laughing but I kept my cool and said that I was confident of my bid and I had some money tucked away in another Bank to help! ha ha!

Anyway - it cost me £12.00 for a bankers draft to be made and I didn't mind that as I didn't want to be carrying cash around!!! Make it out to Elyzea Cosmetic Surgery. It is on the email they give you with the confirmation of operation date but if you haven't had it just ask them for it.

Oh and book your travel as soon as you are able as it will be cheaper, I stayed at Hotel De Fierland (think that's how to spell it) and booked it through bookings.com - it's allon the Elyzea hotels section on their site!

Good luck!

can i ask did you pay your deposit straight away when you booked or did you get so long to pay it. I've been offered DR Tondu in September for a BA, having my consultation there.

hi roxy

you pay the deposit 3 weeks before the surgery date, which i think is really good coz u have to pay it straight away with companies in this country!

Book your travel and accomodation asap as prices only go up the nearer to the time you get. I waited an extra week cos I thought they might go down, but ended up paying 30.00 more than the price I'd seen week previously!

it is either payment in pounds sterling, by credit card (with a 3% surcharge) or by Bankers draft. They WILL NOT take payment by debit card- even though my bank authorised that it would go through fine.

I paid in cash as I'm too tight to pay the surcharge and my bank wanted 30.00 for doing a bankers draft!
"Thank god for you info"

thanks for your advice. werent you worried about taking all that cash over with you?
i heard someones story (cant remember who) about getting lost in brussells and getting spat at by gangs..slightly worried about this as my sense of direction isnt the best haha!

i will book my accom as soon as my op is booked, only thing is the money im using from it is from the sale of a house, if all goes well and to plan then i should have then money about 5 or 6 weeks befor my op, do you think this is plenty of time to get a cheap deal?
would book it sooner but im just worried that if the sale falls through then i wont have the money for the op and will have wasted money on accom!
well, maybe if im lucky enough to win a few grand on the lottery this weekend i wont have to worry about all this haha!

anyway sorry for the huge message, how are you gettin on with your new additions??! and what surgeon did you have, i think i read somewhere you had Dr Tondu?

Wait until contracts have been exchanged your buyers will then be legally bound so you know its going through!

yeah what you have said definately makes sense, but if i wait until then then i may not get a date in october for the surgeon i want, i feel like i have waited so long already! but i suppose it wont harm me to wait a few more weeks, so i know im definately getting the money!
