Hello everyone, just had my boobs done yesterday and thought i would share my experience!! I had 335cc high profile overs, with THG, my surgeon was mr Zaccheddu. I arrived for check in at 7.15 and was taken straight to my room where i was introduced to the morning nurse staff. They explained wat i needed to do, shower, put my lovely paper pants and nightdress on....soooo sexy!!! etc measured my legs to fit me up with stockings! I was then told my surgery time, and it was early which i was glad about. Saw my surgeon who took pics and drew on me with marker pen!! and saw my anesthetist who reassured me about havin the GA (my main fear) When they came for me i was really nervous, started giggling, but not out of excitement! I was lying on the operating table and they hooked me up to the heart monitor and my heart was beating really fast and really loudly!! the anesthetist assistant was an amazing man and made me feel really safe, i remember feelin drunk and then a cold sensation up my arm and that was it. i woke up had had a dream and had apparently been in recovery for 35 mins already and i had sworn, but dont remember any of that at all!! then i remember being in my room and the nurses put my bra on, and i had a peep at my new additions and thought WOW!!! My bladder must have gone to sleep as i had drunk 3 jugs of water but didnt have my first wee till 7.30pm, then i had a really bad nights sleep cause i was up every hour goin to the loo! I had to have oxygen as well as my sats had dropped an wasnt breathing very well, but was fine once i had the mask on, an thro the night i used it as an when i needed too. Got up really early this mornin as we were all kicked out at 6.15!!!!!!!!!! (not happy about that) got myself washed an dressed went out in to the corridor and nearly collapsed! was really sick aswell, i think it was the pain killers and lack of food that did it, so had to go back on the oxygen and had an anti-sickness jab in my bum too! Post op blues hit me about 4pm this afternoon!! and i am quite exhausted, hope i feel better 2moro and a bit perkier, i have been asleep most of the day. My boobs are aching and they look and feel like when i had just had my kids and my milk came in!!! I am all puffy and bloated so feelin like a fatty at the mo too but im not worried about it, i know its mostly water retention and cause im not movin around much. All in all tho i am soooo happy and am so glad i had them done, the staff at thg were absolutely fantastic, they really did look after me, and nothing was too much trouble. The only thing i will moan about is the early discharge! My boobs look amazing now, so cant wait till the swelling goes and i see the real thing! I just wanna say to anyone who is worried about getting it done, just do it!!!! I was terrible, worried none stop and nearly cancelled a few times, but all i think now is thank god i didnt cancell!! i will put pics up sometime next week for anyone that wants a peek!! im having my ba on sat 12th realy nervous and excited the same time was it as bad as you thought and is it worth it im really panikin nowx

OOOOOO how exciting!! It makes me laugh now as i write this cause i just didnt believe the other girls but it really is a walk in the park!! lol I was terrible just b4 my op, practically drove my family mad and nearly cancelled twice cause i was that scared!! And when i was on the operating table my heart was jumping out of my chest, but i was strong and i did it and i am sooooooo glad i did, really is the best thing i ever did for myself! the first few days were a bit rough, not painful, just really uncomfortable! I am exactly a week post op now, my scars are healing nicely and are a lot smaller than i expected, i get little twinges every now an then but i feel great. Dont panick!! you really will be fine!! Thanks for sharing that didnt seem bad at all. Well done for getting through it. Hope your feeling a bit happier. That discharge was early!! I would of still been knackered, I'm opting for a day case then i can get it all out the way and be at home ..... well thats hat im hoping haha

Congratulations on you new additions! So good to hear other girls stories and experiences. Hope your recovery continues smoothly and quickly. Im having mine on
24 and wish day would come so I can get it over with.

Well done and glad you had a good experience, Even though I was awake early I would have hated that early discharge as i am just not a morning person!Look forward to seeing your pics.

Where did you go into hospital?? im a bit concerened as my sister wants me to phone her two hours before i have to leave so she can come up then but if i get chucked out then i dont know what im going to do. she cant get there that early!!! Get well soon xxxxx

I was at bromsgrove hospital! I should have said they chuck u out of bed early!!! You go down for breakfast at 6.15, its so they can get the rooms ready for the next lot of patients but dont worry u wont be thrown out on the street!! My step mum picked me up at 8.30, and i just stayed in the departure lounge with a few of the other girls. They wont release you until someone physically comes to get u, weather it be your driver or family member!!! sorry to worry u!! Tani XXXX
