Hello all again,
Ok, after much thought last night in bed over my cons with Mr Russo, which I felt was very rushed, I got up feeling very scared and decided to Phone Transform... I spoke to a lady called Elaine, I told her everything from how I felt about it all, Mr Russo, my other cons with mr Traynor and dates etc...
Anyway, she was absolutely brilliant and after a long discussion, she reccommended I go and see the lady Ps called Olympia Hadden. She said that Olympia Hadden gives more time and is better explaining things, which is what I want seeing as I have slight tubular right breast....
Anyways just thought I would let you know I am now booked in for a cons with her on the 25th July and also payed £500 deposit to secure a bed for the 31st of July for the op. If I change my mind afetr seeing her then I will get a full refund...When I paid my deposit i spoke to another lady called Elaine who has worked there for 11 years, she used to vet the PS's before they were employed by transform, she also has worked along side miss Hadden, and gave me her GMC number to look at, she also told me of the breast work she has done, how many, her qualifications, where she qualified etc...
It was all much more informative and she said that the lady ps will explain alot more....
So after doing this I feel a little better, not as mithered...and definately not as pressured as last night...
They both told me it was my decission and it wasn't something to take lightly...
Elaine, the second one I spoke to was on the phone with me for an hour (they phoned me ) so it wasn't my bill....she also said if I needed anymore help with anything even stuff on the internet then to ring her anytime and she will go through it all with me...
So there ya go....
still feel nervous but i guess thats natural....

My mum and I have both had a consultation with Olympia Hadden. She is a lovely lady and does talk things through more thouroughly than the men PS. She is very open and honest about the results that can be achieved..Good Luck you'll be fine...

She did my BA and uplift just over 3 months ago. She is fantastic and a very good surgeon.

She really takes her time and explains everything. I've been back tonight for my first post op check armed with a barrage of questions which she answered every one.

Highly recommended and the after care with nurses etc has been great so far.

Just to let you know - Olympia Hadden did my BA two years ago (Manchester Transform) and she was fantastic - I couldn't have asked for a better, caring surgeon- or better results!
If you have any specific questions- just ask - I'd be happy to help (I know how scary it is before the op!).

i couldnt believe it when i read your post as i'm seeing olympia hadden as well!

have been for an appointment at transform today as was recommended by a lady on this forum (thank you i think it was sarah!)

have booked to see her on 18july for a consult and paid my deposit to have my ba on 7aug! am sacrificing 2 weeks in the sun to get new boobies yippee!

am nervous as well as being excited as have wanted to get them done for years and now i'm in the position to do it, if i dont have the op i'll regret it.

Brilliant news, so when did you book yours, mine was this morning...I can't believe it, thought I would be the only one with her.
Did Transform recommend her or had you heard about her...
The reason they put me with her is because she takes her time, I felt I was rushed when i went to see Mr Russo yesterday...
I am nervous also, scared and wondering if i am doing the right thing, but like you, if I don't do it now I will never do it.
I have wanted this since I was 16 and I am now 40, so thats a long time.
The only other worry is the money...I have to get a loan of 3500 to pay off the rest, but will have to take the payments of 40 per month for 10 years...
I don't want to pay anymore because I am single with two boys, 19 and 12, I would hate them to loose out on anything because of this...So I figure I won't miss £10 per week.....
Hope not anyways....
Please keep in touch Helen, you have your cons before me so you will be able to let me know what she is like....

yeah i booked it yesterday with derrith at transform in leeds, had a consult with her for about an hour, felt so comfortable and at ease and she told me about her ba as well i asked her if she'd go through the experience again and she said yes which put my mind at rest. found out today that my boss has had hers done!! she was telling me all about it and said she would get it done again as well

am seeing dr singerova on monday with harley and dr foo with mybreast next friday but i think i will go with transform, i got good vibes from them!

will definatley keep in touch sam and let you know what she is like, i misread your post sorry! i thought your consult with her was first, doh!

have told my friends what i'm having done and they're all really supportive and encouraging me to get it done if its what i want. i keep mulling it over in my head and thinking 'am i brave enough to go through with this', but i really want it doing so much so i reckon the best thing to do is not think about it or i'll talk myself out of it lol

Let me know how you get on with the other consultations please......
I have just a bit of a problem thugh as one of my breasts is tubular, so I really hope she can correct this during the BA....
I will have to see what she says on the cons...
I go to Cornwall on the 7th July for 2 weeks so I will be away when you go for your con with her....
But please leave a message on here for me to read what she was like.....
I am keeping my fingers crossed that she can help me.

Its great that you have told yur friends about this, I really think you need support in all of this.

My best friend and her sister knows as do my parents who have been great.
Nobody at work knows yet...don't know how they will react....
I have yet to tell my two boys about it one is 19 and the other is 12 tomorrow!!!
I am not going to tell them until I have made up my mind after I have seen Olympia Hadden...
So fingers very crossed for us both...
if you hear of anyone else who has Olympia Hadden let me know.....
