hello
i was 6 weeks post op yday but the scar under my right boob wont seem to heal. its closed all the way along then at the end of the incision theres an open wound; about the size of a bean. it keeps bleeding when i change my plasters and sometimes leaks a greeny yellow liquid. it doesn't smell but is quite sore when i reach up etc. any suggestions? or has anyone else experienced this? i've got an appointment to see me PS on tuesday morning as its my 6 week check up. jut worried as i thought it shouldnthave haledby now, considering it was cut open a month and a half ago lol?
cheers xxx

Your right it should have healed and it sounds like you have a small infection.Don't worry if I were you i would go to the doctors to get some anti biotics. If that is not possable then go to the chemist and explain the situation to the chemist. They are quite highly trained and should be able to sort you out until you see your ps.
Good luck.

I Had this at six weeks too, had to get a bit of the stitch cut out (Erik did mine at my appointment), after that healed up fine.
