I know thank you for your response. It is always the pain immediately after you worry about but this is now making me a bit down. Just read some previous threads on this and I do realise I am being impatient. It is a major op and so will take time for nerve ends etc to settle. Just needed abit of re assurance.
Many Thanks.

Whole thread for the following message:
| Thread started by: | "Still in pain 3 weeks on (this thursday)" Posted by battyboob1 15 July at 00:30
Hi all Just wondered when the pain eases off? In fact mine has got worse (different than early on) not better. After the op and for the first week I was ok thought this is not too bad! But second week i went back to work and I have been doing housework and had to lift some things (single parent all helpers have left!!). I even noticed that wearing heels at work killed me!
Still got sports bra on day and night and sleeping up right. Wonder if i have done too much but pain really more like an ache all the time with sharp pain at the nipple area? Any input on when I can expect it to lighten up! Cannot imagine wearing an ordinary bra they are loike stuck on footballs still , they have softened a bit and I know it will take a while before they feel my own (got no sensation at all i most of my breast! Is this normal???
Thx

People heal at different rates, so it's difficult to predict how long it will be before you feel well again. It shouldn't be too long, I wouldn't have thought - and to be fair, it's still early days even at three weeks post op. Breast augmentation is pretty major surgery - you need to give your body time to heal it's self - I'm sure it's hard to relax if you are a single parent, but just try not to over do things and take it easy when ever it's possible.
