OK as you have probably read, I have taken the plunge going on 15 September for BA just trying to keep positive (but scared). I am 46 had a go at botox, restalyne and new crowns so have to get this done - I am not getting older without a fight read a book lately "To Hell in High Heels" thats me cause I dont think Heaven will have me lol. Could any of you girls out there in there 40's either waiting to go or been let me know how you got on just so I don't feel I am becoming a paranoid over 40 searching again for my 30's ha ha thanks x

"Having fun at 40 with a toy boy"
Posted by goldenbrown1 11 August  at  22:41

This is my time now, done the children bit, got 3 girls (13, 7 & 4) all breast fed and all naturally delivered even one at home. Had my first partner leave me when I was 3 months pregnant (were together for 7 years) and she was born at 6 months (28 weeks). Worked hard all my life and at 40 realised this was me time. Had my teeth whitened. Hubby threw an envelope at me one evening and it was full of money for me to get my new boobies. After BA went to the gym every day, lost 10lbs and now weigh the same as I did before kids. People started noticing me, women and men. Getting all sorts of great compliments and looks. Had a radical change of hairstyle and have never felt so great. Especially on holiday with my three girls this past July without hubby (he had to work). The reps nicknamed me the beauty and I wore my bikini with confidence. My eldest daughter tells me I should dress more my age, I tell her to go away plus I have a toy boy for a husband who is 32 but all my friends think I look younger than him. Discovering a new me and have no intention of getting old fast, just hope my husband can keep up with me ha ha

I cant wait to have my boobs done, i have 5 daughters and i breastfed them all so its going to be wonderful to get them perky again. "Im 41"

Since turning 40 I have left my husband (long story), rediscovered my libido and got myself a 32D after years of 32AA. Im not sure that I could say that life begins at 40, but for sure it's a kick up the backside which reminded me it doesnt end there either!!

Good luck with all your bas. Im loving my new boobies!!! Exactly what I needed to boost my confidence. Everything else may head south a bit but when I look in the mirror, all Im seeing now is my fabulous new pups!!

"40s club"

Am I too late to join? I'm 41. I have absolutely no intention of looking or acting my age! I was appalled at turning 40, so I gave myself a kick up the derriere and decided to do something about at least not looking it. I gave up smoking. Went to Weight Watchers and now weigh what I did before having 2 children, and I had my teeth sorted this year. I even had surgery on my bladder (having children ruined me!) so I can now sneeze, jump, run, cough etc without an embarrassing incident. Next on the list is my BA which is finally happening on 23 Sept with Mr Khan. I fully intend to be that woman who screeches into hell in high heels with a glass of wine in my hand saying "woohoo what a ride"!

i'm 40 next march and go 4 ba 22nd july. I have waited 10 years for this and i am now so looking forward to it. I'm that excited i have just about packed my bag ready for it. I wish now i had done it when i was 30 but as the other post said the new 30 is 40.Since having my 3 girls i have lost almost everything and now i feel i can go ahead and do it for myself, sod the rest of the people who think i'm mad.
Good luck ladies....

But had my BA in Dec when I was 45.

I don't log onto the forum so much as I did but saw your post and wanted to re-assure you that you will be delighted you went ahead.

I was a very flat 32a/bish and now fill a 32dd nicely. Not too big but believe me what a difference it makes to how you feel about yourself and look in clothes, especially this time of year.

I didn't really think about how old I was as I had been thinking about it since the age of 30!!!

I have pics I can email but like alot of girls on here, I have just noticed Picturetrail has deleted my account! Not bothering to reload but happy to share my pics with any like minded ladies!!!

Good Luck to all 40+'s (and anyone else!)yet to take the plunge.

"I loved this post"

Hi the over 40 club!.........I turned 40 last year and wasn't happy with how I was ageing. From January I decided this year was totally about me. I have lost 3 stone and 1lb(very important pound!), gone really blonde, growing my hair, had botox, fillers and have booked for BA and lipo on 19th August my 41st birthday(just a coincidence but great b'day prezzie).Yes well and truly in the mid life crisis don't you think.

People who have not seen me for a while are shocked at my turn around and even don't recognise me, it's been great fun. I'm loving shopping, something that I dreaded and find it easy. I have decided that I will be setting targets for myself for the future. My current goal is no smoking, I am on my third day(which is unheard of for me) with the aid of NRT's and feel fantastic. My mood is very good and my husband said it was fantastic again which is unheard of. I am going to watch very carefully what I eat so I don't gain extra weight. Bit of discipline now that will soon pay off. Once I heal completely from surgery will get a FIT personal trainer to put me through a really tough session to super tone my body. Feeling fab & 40!.................. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"You go girl!"
Posted by bids3 16 July  at  16:33

Hi greta1232, you're a girl after my own heart. My ba is next tuesday in Manchester and I know that this surgery will probably be the first of many more to come. I turn 44 this year and for me it feels as though I have reached a new "ME" destination in my life (don't know why is just arrived in my mind). I like to look good and I know my hubby loves me for looking after myself even though it's quite costly. For me, being 40 is just this 2 digit number that some how I have reached. I thank God for my life and my decisions and that I live in a great society that allows me to have choices (and credit!).

Thanks greta for a great contribution to this site.

Hi there
Im 40 in September and im now 4 months post op. I had 315cc unders and it is one of the best things i have ever done, money well spent! My only regret is not doing it sooner. Ive got some pictures if you want to have a peek. Next thing on my list is the face, not sure whether to have fillers or face lift. What are the results like with fillers?
Anyway good luck for the ba, you'll love it!
