I had showers underneath my boobs and made sure my plasters didn't get wet and then used a damp flannel for the rest, at least the shower beneth your boobs is cooling!
Tip: Either wax ur underarms before ur op or post op I used Nair Sensitive hari removal cream push up stuff as I couldn't for the life of me shave under there for a good two weeks...not nice when its hot!

Hiya am a shower person too! cant stand baths was allowed to shower fully when plasters have been removed which is usually around a week after. as for the armpit thing, honestly, i really strugged cleaning under there as the slightest touch or press was really sore and i couldnt manage to do it properly as couldnt lift arms enough anyways! its best to get some baby wipes for that area.

had overs on Thursday and today I managed to wash my hair with the shower head whilst in a shallow bath if that makes sense. I use a flannel for my pits and that has been OK, even the day after.

hiya
isnt it amazing how much docs advice differs, I had a shower the day after my op, was told to have a shower NO soap whatsoever and take the dressings off and let the water gently run over for a few seconds, then dressings back on. I had my op on wednesday and also had another shower yesterday and removed my dressings totally, so just have the sports bra on now.
Not using soap anyway near my top half Melodyx
