ok im suddenly feeling really down and borderline depressed, i dont know whats wrong with me at all.

I keep having a sharp stabbin pain in one breast my left one its horrible, also my right nipple looks like its pushed out, I am only 5 days post op but I cant help worrying, my partner says to stop reading the internet because its sending me into a blind panic thinking this and that is going wrong.

I think the lack of sleep isnt helping me at all.

I seriously want to cry, im also worried that I wont like my breasts when they settle in, I dont ever want to go through this again but what if there not big enough. I cant really bear to look at them, im wearing a 36D sports bra but im worried if they shrink so much they will only be a C and everything ive read says fake look smaller so that will mean a B so thats only 1 cup size higher than I was. I had 335cc high profile partial unders.

sorry for waffling i just feel so down

I had exactly the same problem. I would get random sharp pains in my left breast, especially when I would move for the first time in the morning. Im 2 weeks po now and its virtually stopped, so try not to worry it does get better xx

i was 5 days post op yesterday, and for some reason i sat and cried in my living room nearly all day!! I was very down yesterday, but couldnt explain why

I think, like the other grls have said that it was the GA coz i just kept bursting into floods of tears! I was a right state. I dont think it helped that my boyfriend wasnt home for the 1st time to help me do things and i just felt so useless! im a bit of a tidy freak and can not stand my house bein a mess, my boyfriend on the other hand is not, so my house is a mess and i cant do anything about it.

I feel great again now today so hopefully you will feel better again soon!

Sx

I'm the same, melody . In such pain on my left side that I can hardly move. right is ok, but the left... my god, it feels like it is on fire and the pain killers aren't touching it. I am actually crying due to the pain, and I'm no wimp!!

I wish I hadn't done this

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling down - I'm sure you are not alone - as someone already said, it's a side effect of the GA working it's way out of your system. I also think, we put "great" expectations into or BA's - and sometimes, the whole experience doesn't live up to the high standard we expect it to.

Also - I see you mention about the size - and this is one of the reasons why I always urge girls to choose maybe a larger implant that they had first thought. I cannot stress enough how difficult to predict your new size once your BA is done. I think girls are often frightened by the look of the larger implants - thinking they will look absolutely huge once they are inside - but they don't and I also think we become accustomed to our new size "amazingly quickly" after our BA - and often end up wishing we'd taken a bigger implant.

I do hope you feel a bit happier again soon Melody - I'm sure it's post op blues - take care hun xx

i've yet to have my BA(due to bloomin insuffient funds! GRR)but i think because of this i've been glued to this site so i can get all the info i need-from reading just about all there is to read it seems to me that the GA is having its 'wicked way' with you while its slowly working its way out of your system!so if you can just get through the next couple of days as best you can all should seem a little brighter when all the 'GA nasties' have gone completely. take care babe+you'll have beautiful new boobies soon but it just takes a little time! hey melody

everything ur worrying about is exactly what i did! im almost 5 weeks post op now (was wearing a 34D sports bra in first post op week) and im still a 34D! swelling has gone down around the sides and were my cleavage is so theyre stil just as full but normal looking!

i think ur just psychin urself out...ur a worrier like me we cant help it!!

the pain is just ur body getting used to it...i had that as well and unfortunately its just something that goes away after time! i was always in agony in the morning (after a night of ZERO sleep- which got much easier after week and a bit)

this goes away as ur boobies soften up.

dont get urself down honey, easier said than done but ive gone through it too and i guarantee u.. give it time and ul b a very happy lady!

just make the most of getting to be lazy under doctors orders!! dont do anything too fast..id give it 3 weeks before u even look at a hoover!!

hope this helps x x x x
