hi im 40yrs old we have been try 2 get preg again since last summer .last per was 19 dec was due on again 19 jan o8 but got a posative preg test 21st jan .we already have kids my youngest baby is 2 soon.i went for private scan the consultant did a transvaginal 1 anyway had that on thurs feb7 wen i worked out id be 7wks preg anyway consul says .their is an egg yolk sac but no heartbeat yet . but he reckons im only 5wks preg & i may have a miscariage cheers thats wat i really wanted to hear.but since this morn wen i wipe after go 4 a wee theirs steaks of blood but not every time so suppose i best prepare myself for the worst .has anyone else been in same boat as me .how did ur preg go or did it end ive had 3 misscariages be one at 12wks which was the worst the others 6wks .anyway i like look on here reading other people stories i gor preg this time in the end brought a boots fertility monitor .i wont give up even if i do lose this baby con says cum back see me in 2wks but i may take report & tell my doctor about bleed see if they will do another sacan anyway sorry for whinge &the long winded post .thanks for reading marie

were told that they could see the sack but no heart beat and it was because it was very early.
I'm sure its pretty normal not to detect a heart beat at 5 weeks, but im no dr.
have they checked your hcg levels to make sure they are doubling, that what they did with my friend.

try not to panic, hard i know but they do say some bleeding in early preg is normal.

make sure you rest and go back if your worried you can never be to carefull.

Hi there n soz 2 hear bot your situation i dont have any experience bout misscarige .but when i was pregs i bled from 6 wk till the end was always in hospital,,,,every wk i wouldnt worry so much but i never m-c i wish u all the luck in the world xxxx
