I had my implant out on the 5th of Feb, I also have had very random periods on it. I found out two weeks a go i am pregnant. I had the implant in for the 3 years it lasted.
Hope this helps but remember everybody is different.

p.s i have not had a period since having the implant out.

Whole thread for the following message:

Thread started by:
"How long does it take for your periods to return after having the implant out ????"
Posted by kelie21 26 March  at  22:23

I had my implant out 8 weeks ago and still no period. I have done about 10 pregnancy tests (Insane i know ) and they have all been negative.
I had random periods when i had the implant in and now they have totally disapeared.
Everything i have read says your fertility returns to normal straight away.

Does anyone have any advise.

If not to save my sanity but to save my pocket. (Pregnancy test are not cheep)

Thanks

ok so i had my implant out and two days later had a 3 day period however it wasnt a proper period it was just becauuse my implant was out
a month later i had propper period
i know everyone is different but id go c your doctor as it dont sound right to me
dont do anymore pregnancy tests as it is a waist of your money if they are negative
then you probably aint pregnant. it might jjust be the way your body copes with the sudden change of things
deffinatly go see your doc if you dont af

Fingers crossed i might be the same it is just the unknowing that is annoying. You almost convince yourself that the next test will be positive.
