| Thread started by: | "Is it possible to ovulate later than usual?" Posted by mothertobe1 18 June at 02:04
I had a miscarriage in January. My period came on March 23, April 19th then on May 13. I was suppose to have my period on the 10th of this month and it never came. That is on a 28 day cycle but I expected it to be here earlier. When I did my ovulation calculator after my period in May I was suppose to be ovulating the 27th. My husband and I had sex on the 26th. I woke up the morning of the 27th with bleeding and bled that day but nothing after that. I have taken HPT and still no BFP just BFN. I have an appointment with my OBGYN on the 25th which is next week. Is it possible to have ovulated later than usual and be pregnant and just be an early pregnancy that will not show up on a HPT yet? What information can anyone give me. I am antsy!! Thanks Baby dust to all

Hi, my ovulation was all over the place, never ovulated on the same cd each month it varied from cd12 - cd18. So the answer to your question is yes you can ovulate later than usual. Get yourself some ov predictor pee strips off the internet. I found them very good in helping me pinpoint my ovulation. I also did the temps along with them as I wasnt always 100% sure was that second line strong enough on the opt. Bleeding after sex can sometimes be due to a cyst or abrasion. Keep testing if your AF was due 10 June your 8 days late, but ov could vary by that much. Get the strips to test your ov next month if you AF should make her appearance...fingers crossed for you that she stays well away! Good luck! Sharon 29+2wk pink bump x
