"Medical termination"
Posted by ashley1206 17 August  at  11:36

Hi Everyone,

Not really sure how I'm feeling I'm so used to signing in on the "Expecting a Baby" but on tuesday I went for my 17 weeks scan and was told there wasn't enough amniotic fluid around the baby this was due to the baby's kidney (They wern't forming properly). I was told that IF my baby was to survive the pregnancy it wouldn't survive life in the real world. I then had to make the decision of having a medical termination. But unfortunantly I couldn't have a D&C and had to deliver the baby naturally.

I just really don't know how to cope at the moment as this was must first pregnancy and not really sure when we can start trying again.

Ashley x x

Oh Ashley, I dont really know what to say, I'm so sorry it's happened. I've had two miscarriage in the last year, they broke my heart but I can only imagine how much harder this must be for you. I cant give you any advice but I want you to know that I'm thinking of you and we are here if you need anything. You'll have all kinds of emotions so if you need anything at all this is a great place for support and understanding.

Lots and Lots of love

so sorry hun can only imagine what you must be going through. Haven't any proper advice for you just wanted you to know you're not alone. I've had 3 m/c's in last year so got some idea how you're feeling and my heart goes out to you. Wish there was something more I could do but will be thinking of you.

Take care, love Clare xxx
