I have had three miscarriages, the last was in 2005. I have one son who is now 10 years old from my previous marriage.

After my last miscarriage I decided I didn't want to try again because the hospital couldn't find anything wrong or offer any suggestions.

I feel ready to try again now though, but I am 35, so I guess age isn't on my side.

I've been reading lots to try and minimise the chances of having another miscarriage and now we're TTC I have given up alcohol completely and caffeine as well. I gave up smoking years ago so that's not an issue. I try to eat healthily and take sanatogen pro-natal. I've been reading that progesterone can help in some cases.

All my miscarriages occured at 6 weeks.

Has anyone got any experience of progesterone and whether it can help? Also is there anything else I should be doing?

I feel excited to be TTC again, and hopeful of a successful pregnancy but scared to death as well.

"Progestrone"

hey hun well ive read that natural progestrone is what prevents us having an m/c but if we are not producing enough at the crucial time then they say thats wat results in most early m/c so they say to take prog suppulments straight after ovulation and continue threw to 3rd month if u was to become pregnant, hope that helps! might give them a blast myself as i had a loss 4 weeks ago and im willing to try anything! all the best shell

"Progesterone cream"

£12 plus P&P which seems quite reasonable and has 2000mg of progesterone in it which is better than most I think. I just typed in progesterone cream and it came up. The brand is NATPRO.

Yes, I have been using Natpro for menopause symptoms and it is excellent. No more flushes!
I understand it works for PMS and other hormonal issues.
The Wild Yam stuff does not seem to work for me.
