Hi all,

Just wanna say thank you to all of you that managed to read through my last post, especially since it was so long!
Went into hospital today for a follow up scan. After going through such a horrific month I was given premier treatment, at last! I had a short wait and was called in for an internal scan (much less uncomfortable than I thought). I was shown my womb, the endometrium and my ovaries and all is looking good. such a relief as I've been worried there was something wrong with me. After the scan I was whisked into a side room for the results of the scan and the "good news" is there's nothing left inside me and I'm back into a regular cycle.
After that though I had to sign a consent form for the cremation of the baby, which is taking place on 21st September. That was horrible and made it all very real!
But I'm starting to feel ok now and hopefully we'll be able to start trying again in October. So fingers crossed I'll be speaking to you all on the "trying for a baby" forum soon!
Good luck everyone. It's so good to know I'm not alone.
Claire x

don't wanna sound flippant cos in some ways knowing it's all over is the worst but at least you have some sort of closure now. Today must've been awful but you're right to focus on what comes next and look forward to the future. Am so glad you're starting to feel a little better, it does take time and you're bound to have bad days but you sound like a fighter to me. Good luck, remember we're all here for you if you need us.

Lotsa love,

Clare xxx
