After reading some of the messages on here it made me come to terms with what has happened to me. After being told my new husband and i wouldn't be able to have children, we found out i was pregnant, at 5 weeks i was told it was eptopic and taken to surgery. When i came out i was told it was a mistake and it was a normal pregnancy but because of the surgery i had a chance of misscarriage. Two weeks later it was confirmed the baby was fine. I went for a scan at 13 weeks and was told my baby had a serious problem and to come back and see a consultant. My baby was diagnosed with anancephly and although i could carry full term he would die within days of being born we were advised for a medical termination. On 7th november 07 i gave birth to a little boy named Alfie he was 10cm long and weighed 0.2oz. We had his funeral on 12th november

what a terrible time you have been through. So many ups and downs. How are you feeling? I can't imagine how hard it is for you and yout husband. All I can say is that us girls seem to be made of tough stuff and slowly but surely the pain will ease. I miscarried last Monday and it is by far the most painful thing I have ever been through but I am taking comfort from my gorgeous and lovely boyfriend, family, friends and this forum cos the girls on here are lovely and really understand.
Take care
