Hi girls, hope everyone is doing ok. I was just wondering if anyone can answer my question...I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago now and bled for 3 weeks after it. The bleeding then stopped for a few days and now its started again, like a period but alot lighter. Im just wondering if anyone knows wether this could be my period or not? I know cycles can get confused after m/c but im desperate to start trying agin in the new year and want to know whats going on with my annoying body!!
Love, jenny xxxxx

Hey Jenny,
sounds like it could well be, my first couple of periods after my first 2 m/c's were very light and only lasted a couple of days and if I remember rightly the timings were similar too. You often find your period turns up on time for your old cycle, strange but true. I know it's frustrating when you don't know what's going on with your own body but the best advice I can give you for trying again is to just try to relax and not think about your cycle too much, big ask I know but the less stressed you are the better chance you've got. I had my 3rd m/c in July and it's taken a few months for my periods to settle down this time, had a lot of spotting inbetween periods (sorry for TMI) and it's really interfered with ttc so know how frustrating it is when you just want to crack on so to speak! I've been a bit scared to babydance in case the spotting was anything to worry about so I've had to resort to jumping on OH whenever I get a clear day, poor sod it's been famine or feast and nothing in between! You might have to babydance every couple of days til you know where you are with your cycle just to make sure you don't miss anything, it's a hard life ttc! Hope you're doing ok, know focusing on trying again can be the best thing but make sure you give yourself time to get your head round what's happened too, it's not easy but it does get better. Lotsa love and luck for the future, message anytime if I can help,
Clare xxx
