Hi everyone just heard about this site (not sure where i should be writing this) my names Lisa im 23 i lost a beautiful baby boy called Nathan last year to a neral tube defect called anencephaly, i had my scan at 17 wks and was told had to terminate as he was 'incompatible' with life. I came off the pill in March and im tryin for baby number 2 with no success so far, feeling a little scared and thought i'd join to share my experience and chat to other women.

sorry for your loss its such a hard thing to go thru so welcome to the site anytime you want a rant just come here its fab. i have had 8 misscarrages latest was 12 weeks and that was hard enough, i do now have 2 kids one of each and im 17 weeks gone with another. things happen for a reason.

welcome aboard, this site's been a godsend to me and the girls are all lovely. Sorry to hear about your little boy, I've had 3 m/c's in the past year or so but can't imagine how hard that must have been for you and your partner. It's great that you're trying again and totally natural to feel scared, don't feel you're alone cos a lot of us are in the same boat. This forum been a massive support but the trying to concieve one tends to be busier and lots of the girls over there have been through losses so it might be worth you checking that out as well. Hope you're doing ok, message anytime if you want a chat.
