Hi Vikki,

think any kind of scare in pregnancy is much worse when you've been through m/c before, my heart goes out to you. You probably know that the fact it's brown blood is a good sign and that loads of women have bleeds and everything is still fine but I know that doesn't help much when you're scared and waiting to find out what's going on. I've had 3 m/c's and it's really hard to know whether to let yourself believe it might be ok and set yourself up for more pain if it isn't or be negative and prepare yourself for the worst. I want to tell you to stay positive but I know how hard that is. All I can say really is that I'm thinking of you and I'm here if talking helps. I have everything crossed for you for later, let us know how you get on when you can, is OH going with you? Sending big hugs and all the good luck I can find,

love, Clare xxx

Hiya Hun,
Im sorry to hear how stressed & worried you are! If the bleed is brown I would try to relax in the knowledge that its old blood, with my m/c it was bright red blood from the start, thats what scared me because I know in the first few weeks it isnt unusual to get a few period like cramps & a small bleed around the time your period was due, would you be due your AF around now? Im sure the ladies at the EPU will do everything to put your mind at rest, your seeing the best people possible to help & reassure you. Try to stay positive hun, I know that sounds ridiculously hard now when your on tenderhooks but this brown blood could be a tiny bit of left over old blood that needs out. Im keeping my fingers crossed for you, im sure everything is going to be perfectly fine hun. Let us know how you go on at the hospital & make sure you take some support with you to the EPU, Good Luck & Take Care
Love Hellen xXx
