I wrote on here last week (see message "awaiting blood test results").
Had another scan today, pregnancy sac & yolk sac visible, but no fetal pole. Is this normal?
Have also had horrid brown discharge on & off since Saturday, so fearing the worst, has anybody else had a successful pregnancy after this kind of start?
PS Am assuming 5 weeks is the right date - had thought I was 5 weeks last week, but presumably I was out!!

And its so far so good, they said they could see a heart beat (I actually couldn't see it but I was crying by then so couldn't see anything).They said I'm 7+1, which sounds great.
So I should be very excited, but I've been here before & I can't quite bring myself to believe that it might actually be 6th time lucky for us. No scan now booked until the normal 12 weeks - don't know if I can really wait that long!
I know that this is really positive news alongside the difficult times that some of you are going through right now, but it helps for me to write it down - can't tell anyone else the news yet just in case.
Anyway, I guess now its just a waiting game, with fingers & everything else tightly crossed.

thats great news hun. Really hope this one hangs on in there for the next 33 weeks for you. We are always here for you hun and if you want to come and join the expecting fourm too, there great girls over there too.

just wanted to say congrats, can totally understand your fears but it's good news so far and I have everything crossed for you that things will work out this time. Take care of yourself and try not to get too stressed with the worry, miracles do happen and you're due some good luck so hang in there and message anytime if you need to talk. i anit a doc but as you never seen anything last week and have seen what you seen, today sounds promising. not sure about the fetal pole maybe its too small to see, have you got another date to go back?

Yes, am going back a week Friday, 22nd February. Seems a lifetime away.

bet if feels like a lifetime away but at least the sac is going to bigger and you will see a little dot of a baby starting to grow.
