i really need some advice please ladies.

had my second miscarriage 3 months ago. 9 weeks after my miscarriage i was still recieving a positive pregnancy test doctor said i was pregnant. later i found out that i had left over tissue and thats what was giving me a positive pregnancy test. i had a d and c following this.

i have just now had my first period in three months . i am very heavy i am going through a pad every half hour. the doctor said this is normal but i am very scared. its going through my pants as eveything.

my first period after m/c was horrendous, it lasted 7 days (used to be 3 pre m/c) and was extremely heavy for 5 of these, really horrid sensation and leaked on bed sheets etc despite wearing pads the size of a snowboard! I thought it was never gonna end but it did and my second period, although heavy for one day was nowhere near as bad.
Hope it finishes soon for you, take care, Rach x x x

Sorry to hear about what you've been through...xx

I had my first m/c at the beginning of Jan and first period after that 3 weeks later and it was loads heavier than normal, I did have moments where I was going through pads at a rate that you are, but this really didn't last for very long, and it was certainly no more than half a day. I know everyone is different but if you are feeling frightened try and go to A&E (easier said than done when going through pads at that rate)or get back on at your doctor. I hate to say it but some docs really do seem a bit laid back when it comes to pregnancy/period issues so sometimes you have to shout to make yourself heard.

Hang in there, and I hope you start to feel better soon
Nikki xx
