Hi i've been reading the discussions on this site for about 6 weeks after stumbling across the web site looking for advice and help on miscarriages, it has taken me this long to pluck up the courage to sign up and post a message but here i am!

I had a misscarriage over new year which was a shock as i had a normal pregnancy 2yrs ago resulting in my beautiful daughter. I guess i didn't think it would happen to me as im sure many people do even though i knew the odds of it happening. I started bleeding at 9 weeks but baby had stopped developing at around 7 weeks. I had a fairly quick miscarriage with no complications.

I just wanted to say reading other peoples messages and responses really helped and still does as i still have low days but now concentrating on trying again. I don't know what i would have done if i hadn't found this site and i wish i had signed up sooner.

Sorry for the long message!

Kelly x

Welcome aboard!!

This site is a godsend at times, I also would have been lost without it. Similar to you I m/c on 2nd Jan, also about 9 weeks, but we'd never seen anything on scans since I started bleeding around 6 weeks, so I think baby probably stopped around the 4 or 5 weeks mark too.

I've just recently found out I'm pregnant again, but I can't tell you how scared I am and how overshadowed it all is sadly. Fingers crossed everything works out for us all though, and I hope that your low days start to get further and further apart and good luck comes your way again.

Take care,
Love N xx

I feel exactly the same have recently found this site and this is my first time to write and found it really helpful, I have had two miscarraiges, one last August at 9 weeks and then again on new years day at 7 weeks which was a horrible start to the new year. it is so hard as people dont undestand how devastated you feel and the anger and jealousy is bad especially around all the pregnant friends!! i seem to have loads of those, i am focusing on trying again at the moment and doing loads of research and diet changes to give me the best chance. I am also having acupuncture now, not sure if it will be useful but i find it really relaxing which is needed at the moment. I have found this site really helpful so thanks to everyone for writing in i hope to share the news from now on, Rachel xx
