I m/c in October and have been told I have exactly the same thing.
Have been on low dose aspirin now since 22nd January - watch out, you will find that you will bruise incredibly easily - I look like a giraffe with my patchy skin!
You are right that knowing the cause helps - at least you don't keep on blaming yourself.
I have also been told that the chances of a successful pregnancy are really good with proper monitoring, and that if the condition had gone undiagnosed then it would be 95% certain that i would miscarry again.
Best of luck

hi im new here and iv had 3 m/cs and i had all the tests done and the found nothing, i was kinda hopeing that they found something as i could have had some closher or something to fight! your condetion is very often called sticky blood and the sucsess rate rises to about 70-90 per cent sucsses rate and is treated with asprin and heperin if the asprin alone doesnt work none of theys methods harm your baby but you are in a possition of haveing increased chanes of d.v.t and strokes. i do hope it all goes well for you. hayley i.

Hi Kay,
I just wanted to say hope you're doing OK. Like you say it's nice to have some answers but it's always tough going over things again. I wish I knew why I miscarried incase I'm setting myself up for the same fall again. Have they said what they can do can treat this and help you along next time?
Wishing you all the best, Love N xx

The doc prescribed low-dose aspirin. He said it helps with the thinning of the blood and if I keep taking them before and throughout pregnancy, the chances of carrying a baby full term are pretty high.
