Hi im new to this and was just wondering if anyone could help me.
I found out i was pregnant about a few weeks ago and started spotting friday night but didnt worry too much because id had this with my first pregnancy and it was nothing but i decided to get it checked out. I went to A&E that night where they took my blood and booked me a scan for the sunday morning. On the saturday i started bleeding more heavy and feeling dizzy and had alot of pain. Sunday came and i went to my scan where they told me i was 6 weeks they also told me there was a pregnancy but it was either too early to see anything or that the baby was'nt developing properly so they told me to come back later on that night for HCG tests. I went and had those done and they told me to call the next day for the results. The next morning i called for my results and unfortunatly they told me my HCG levels had dropped. By this time the bleeding was like periods so i told the nurse on the phone and she told me it looked like i was going to have a miscarriage and she booked me to go for a scan and another blood test next monday (17th). Ive bin bleeding since sat like a normal period but im scared as i dont know what to expect and i havnt passed any big clots except very tiny ones. Has anyone being in the same situation as me? hi i had a miscarriage last wednesday i was 11 week's and just like you i started spotting 2 day's after that it was like i was on a period and had realy bad pain. I went up to a&e and had 2 scans and they told me that they couldn't find a hart beet. They told me to go to the early pregnacey unit the following wednesday for a more detaled scan as they didnt know if the baby was to small to find a hart beet. 2 day's after i stared bleeding i felt dizzy and sick so i went to the docter's where he sent me for blood's and told me that he thought i was still pregnant.The bleeding's still not stoped and iv started cloting.got to on wednesday to see if the baby's come way its self. catherine.

I had a miscarriage which started on the 8th March, initially it was brown discharge but by the Sunday it was heavy bleeding. I had a scan on the Monday but was too early to detect so blood tests were taken, results showed my HCG levels had dropped.... sadly we'd lost our baby. I bled for exaxtly 7 days, with no big clots but ver tiny ones like you described. I didn't experience bad pain either, more like a mild period pain. How are you feeling now?

hi sorry to hear bout your loss.like the other girls said were all different.i had my 1st m/c last wk and had like strong period pains lost a few big clots then my baby then it sounds awfull i gushed ....

Sorry to hear about you loss.
It is very hard to deal with but you will get there.I just had my 3rd m/c last week and again the same as Nikki allwere different but I did pass clots and this time quite big ones. Try to relax and take pain killers when you need to as you may get strong period pain pains. If that makes sense.
If you are in a lot of pain phone the hospital again and they can help.

I am sorry to hear that you are miscarrying your baby. Everybody's experience seems to diifer but my first miscarrige was alot like that,just soem small clots and more like a normal period.
I have just had my third and it was totally different to either of the others,hardly a bleeding apart from about 4 hours one morning.My doctor has told me this can happen.
They will check your hcg levels again when you next go in and the scan will confirm whether you have lost and whether there is anything left.
It is a horrible experience,but one you find loads of women go through so you are not alone and the girls here will always help.
Everyone deals with it in different ways as well.

im so sorry to hear of your loss, I had my 1st at christmas & the pain & blood came on thick & fast from the start & stayed like that for over a week then I passed 1 big clot (about the size of a fist) sorry, I know that sounds so awful & scary but it happened suddenly & wasnt painful so it was just upsetting & alarming! After that my pregnancy tests went back to negative within a week & the bleeding slowed to a stop quite quickly.

Im now currently having a second miscarriage & this one is totally different, the blood was heavy & bright red with 2 clots & cramps but this only lasted 2 days, after that the blood slowed to a period & was brown, ive been like this for 11 days now & its coming to a stop but pregnancy tests are still very strongly positive so it looks like ill need help from the hospital to get this baby out, maybe a 15 min operation. Im very scared about this
