Well I read somewhere that after a d and c should wait 2 weeks before getting intimae again in case of infection. My doctor didnt say anything about it but i saw it somewhere i dont know if thats the case. It doesnt bother me much as me personally I dont feel like it. I know its kind of unfair on my OH but youd think he would understand and he does in a way but still gets in a sulk when I knock him back you know what theyre like! I know its not the best start to married life we got married 2 weeks ago and a week later I lost the baby so wasnt exactly a fun honeymoon period! I dont think theres any problem I feel fine and theres been like practically no bleeding since the d and c but its mental thing that I just dont feel excited about it as now its all about baby making and not something else its all thats on my mind right now

I think you are only supposed to abstain from sex until the bleeding stopa after a d&c. As they open your cervix to perform the procedure it makes you more vunerable to infection and obviously while you are still bleeding it means your insides are still tender. Once the bleeding has stopped you should be ok.

It can be quite painful after a d and c after I had mine the first time was a bit sore and a nurse also told me about infection afterwards. I think its ok to have sex but like you said you don't really feel like it. Just wait till you are ready hun. Time is a healer. Take care Vic xx

Hiya Hun, I know what you mean about not feeling too fruity after m/c, I think the thing that spured me on to start again was because we decided to start ttc asap, this isnt the case for everyone, just my personal experience. Some feel they would like to wait but we felt ready.
I think I would call my GP for advice about how long to wait before getting intimate after the op, physically, I heard you had to wait a while before making love, using tampax or going swimming because of infection. Obviously its totally down to you when you feel emotionally up to it.
All the best, congratulations on your recent wedding vows
