"Did i miscarry twins?"
Posted by tracy1977 28 July  at  22:31

I've had a missed miscarriage and my baby died at 7 weeks yet I only found out when I thought I was 12 weeks at my first scan.

I did not actually miscarry for over 6 weeks until I had the Medical Management pills to help me pass. On Saturday at the hospital I passed two quite large clots that I thought may have been the fetus in two parts as it had been in my womb for so long. Also, I passed the placenta and what I thought was the sac but bursted and the hospital said I could go home after this.

That night I passed the sac, an egg sized grey and pink bag which I thought was passed with the placenta at the hospital but must have been wrong. The nurses never told me exactly what I had passed.

I checked the sac to see if the fetus was still there just incase I hadn ... passed at the hospital. In the sac were two cords attached to the inside of the sac and at the end of one was a white shape about 4mm and the other had a white circle with a black dot inside measuring about 3mm.

Was this the fetus and yolk sac or were there twins in the sac explaining why there were two cords. I'm thinking now that the two clots I lost at the hospital were the babies that had detached from the cord in the sac.

I'm confused now as I need closure on whether my baby was still in the sac but really tiny or I passed twins?
