Hi Just wondering when you ovulate...is it the 12/13 day after the first day of your period???
I know the first day of your period counts as day one.
I would eventually like to try for another baby and its good to know.
I realise that I should go on the ttc board....but I prefer this board, as you are all such a friendly bunch.....xxxx

do u temp? its 1 way of finding out for sure when u OV coz ur temps rise after OV. u could try OPKs but i've heard they can be a bit unreliable unless u use the expensive ones. i've never used them so i cant comment. i do temp tho so i know exactly when i OV every cycle.

something u might want to try is the sperm meets egg plan (i know it sound obvious lol). it means doing OPKs from day 8 and BDing every 2nd day till u get the + then do it everyday for 3 days. miss a day then 1 more day BD for luck. taking robussiton(sp?) cough mixture increases cervical mucus. thats the short version but u can google it for the long version. theres been a few girls got their BFPs following it. god i've just read back and i've written an essay, sorry. hope it helps tho

I think generally it is day 14 if you have a 28 day cycle. If your cycle is longer or shorter than this ovulation day is basically 14 days before your next period ie if you had a 31 day cycle you would ovulate on day 17 but it can be different for each person by a day or so. Its probably best to do ovulation tests then you know for sure.
