I miscarried at 7 weeks and have started my period 4weeks later. I bled all the way from my miscariage till my period. Even though it was only slight spotting at times. I am still on my period now but i normally bleed for 7-10 days anyway and I am only on day 5 now so i cant help you any further than the stage I am at now. I hope this has helped.

Hi ladies,

Miscarried @ 6 weeks 2 weeks ago, bled for 6 days, now seem to be having first AF (usual pmt etc symptoms prior).

Mixed feelings really, a reminder that I am no longer pregnant but also a fresh start at tcc.

Just wondering how soon after mc people got their first period? I was quite surprised it came so soon... also did your cycles get back to 'normal'straight away or were you all over the place for a bit?

Experiences and advice greatfully recieved

Many thanks

Rachel xx

i miscarried at 8 weeks but baby had stopped growin at 6 weeks, i had a d and c which stopped miscarriage bleeding within like 4 days. I had first period like 4 weeks after, my cycles were about every 4 weeks before but after m/c i had first one after 4 weeks, then 2nd after 3 weeks, then i got pregnant so cycles had pretty much gotten back to normal almost immediately. Plus i was expecting it to be really heavy as id heard that but mine was really light.

Got my period after 5 weeks after losing my baby at 13wks, had a D&C and bled for three weeks after that.
It was weird, on and off for a few days, then normal loss. Not as much pain as I expected.
Am hoping to be back on the normal cycle again, as I was regular before.
Hope that helps a bitxx
