Two years ago I had a miscarriage @ 14 weeks I had no idea till I went for a scan and was told the baby had died at 10 weeks there was no pain or anything. I decided after that to wait till I was fully over it as it knocked me for 6 as you can imagine. Now myself and my partner have been talking about it and I feel ready to try again but am scared witless that it will happen again. Do you think I am just scaring myself as I left it soo long.

sorry to hear about your previous loss. I know where you are coming from my husband and i had a miscarriage in late Jan at 10 weeks. We waited one month and fell pregnant again, however the unbearable happened again 2 weeks ago, we had another miscarriage.

It is a tremendous amount of emotional strain, self-blame etc. i dont think you left it too long, you have to do what you need to do to feel better yourself before trying again. For me i was ok with trying again right away cause the only thing that is going to make me feel better is to be pregnant. but thats just me.

I think you take as long as you need and when youre ready go for it. As far as being worried unfortunately that is not going to go away it will always be there, just do your best to remember that many people have a miscarriage and go on to have a absolute normal pregnancy. YOur odds of having a normal pregnancy are much higher then having another.

Try to make it like a fresh start the best you can. Best of luck.
