Hi there.
I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago, i though i was 8 weeks pregnant, had spottong so had a scan and they told me the sac was the size of 5 weeks. it was really traumatic and am starting to cope better now.

i didnt have to have a D&C and doctor told me to wait 1 cycle - mainly to determine due dates,

we have been havin unprotected and will just see what happens, but obviously we are hoping for pregnancy!!

has anyone else been through the same?

Hiya am sorry about ur loss, but its good to find someone who has lost at the same time, as i feel on my own.

i to had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago, i also thought i was 8/9 weeks. i had bin spotting for a few days untill i passed out and got taken into hos. i stayed in over night and had a scan the next day. they sed by the size of the scan i was only 5/6 weeks or that the baby had stopped growing. they booked me in for 10 days later to check.

In the mean time i was bleeding alot! alot of people gave me hope saying it happend to them and they went on to go full term.

i went bk after 10 days to find out that i had lost the baby! i felt like the world had fell apart, even though i was so early on i felt as if a big part of me was missing.

i did not need a d&c, but i did manage to get a copy of my 1st scan even though all it was, was a black blob lol

we to are hoping to have another, but dont know how long to leav it as everyone says differant. Me i carnt wait and want to try now!

i hope that everything goes ok for u and if u ever want to chat i will listen.

Hi Leanne,

I know how hard it is to find someone to talk to, i have been going out of my mind!!!

We started tryin about 2 weeks after as i didnt feel emotionally ready. i had my 1st period , not impressed at all!!!. it was extremely heavy.

i am now waiting impatiently until wednesday as that is when i am due on - i hope i am pregnant, im so scared though.

I feel i am having symptoms again, but in some ways i think it can be my mind playing tricks on me as iv heard - that can be done when you want something so badly!

All the best for you. i know how you feel and i will be making an appointment this week just to speak to the doctor about how im feeling, my partner is great but he doesnt understand, which is hard for him to.

keep in touch x

I miscarried about 4 weeks ago but was very early in pregnancy - 3-4 weeks the hospital thought. My period (24th aug) wasn't any heavier than normal. we have been trying since (no patience ha ha) and i know that i ovulated last thursday. i don't know if i should expect to feel the same symptoms as before either. i had much adominal pain, bloating and so sore breasts. the hosp thought it was ectopic because of the cramps right from the start, though thankfully it wasn't. does anyone know are these symptoms normal for pregnancy or can you be pregnant without them? i've taken a test (-ve) today. don't really know when my next period is but am hoping i get pregnant soon. anyone else had different symptoms when got pregnant after m/c?

I lost my baby at the end of July, was 13 wks but baby stopped growing at 11 wks, had spotting then found out i had lost the baby. I had a D&C, got my period at the end of July and am currently pregnant again- about 6 weeks.
Obviously have no way of knowing if this is going to be ok, but fingers crossed.
My friend at work had a horrendous miscarriage in May and is now 13 weeks pregnant with twins!
I know what you mean about not getting obsessed, I tried to chill out and see what happened, and found out after we got home from a cracking holiday in Ibiza that I was pregnant again, so fingers crossed it will be ok for you. The nurse at the unit I went to said there was no medical need to wait at all. It is generally about dating it that people say to waitxx

Hello

I am so sorry you have had to go through this, it is a terrible ordeal. You have great courage as you recognise that you are coping.

I had my first miscarriage new years eve and was very ill with it. The prganancy was unplanned but all I wanted was to hold my baby. After that I decided that I wanted to get pregnant again as soon as possible. I was told to wait one cycle too, but nature took it's own course and I conceived straight away. Unfortunatelty, I miscarried again and I was then hit out of the blue by severe depression. I'm okay now though

My advice is simply let nature take it's course and don't get too hung up on dates and waiting etc. Whether you wait 1 cycle or not, the doctors will determine due dates etc.

I hope things work out well for you and you conceive again soon. If you wanna talk, I'm here. Best wishes xx

thank you for your support.
im so sorry for your losses and your illness with depression.
i feel i am coping as i am back at work and trying to carry on but i have my weak moments which my partner is so supportive of,

i dont want to become obsessed but i know it can easily be done. we are just hoping it happens now.
x
