Hi,

I had bleeding at 8 weeks and went to A&E and they gave me an early scan, it appears that I had an embronic pregancy (chromosone defect)stopped at 4 weeks and there was nothing we could have done or it was nothing we had done, but I was annoyed at the system because they do not scan you in the first 12 weeks and these are the slowest weeks ever so I feel like I wasted 4 weeks planning and being excited and now feel so let down.

We are going to try again immediately, I hope it works out for you.

Hi there, I had a missed miscarriage and a D and C on the 26th March, after the baby had died at about 6 weeks, but it wasnt picked up til I went for my 12 week scan. I fell pregnant again very quickly and couldn't quite believe it but was not excited about it after what happened the first time around. Its been 6 weeks since the D&C but I reckon Im almost 6 weeks gone. I started bleeding last Thursday just slight and seemed to stop as soon as it started, but then started again on Saturday, and stopped in the evening and then again on Sunday but seems to have stopped today so far. I haven't had any pain atall and have been to see the doctors but they said I would have to wait for an early scan which is booked for next week to confirm if I have lost it or not. I have had friends that have bleed in early pregnancy and gone on to have successful pregnancies. I have a 3 year old girl so I know I can have a successful pregnancy, you just take it for granted that just cos you've had one everything will be ok. Im glad for one thing though, if I am losing the baby then at least my body is getting rid and not hanging on for something that isn't there like last time. Hope the scan shows that everything is ok.x
